NFL Trade Rumors: Insider names the one NFC team Deshaun Watson is likely to snub

Deshaun Watson has many suitors coming out of the woods now that he's been cleared of charges by the US Supreme Court. Teams are starting to pull together resources to create a trade package for the quarterback.

Although they could provide one of the best trade packages for the Houston Texans, insiders within ESPN believe Deshaun Watson won't waive his trade clause to go to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Both Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler both reported that Deshaun Watson has little interest in joining the Eagles. Graziano stated the Eagles were in the mix last season but that no longer seems valid.

"Philadelphia was interested last year but got the sense he didn't want to go there ... so the Eagles are telling everyone they're all-in on Jalen Hurts ... They do have three first-round picks this year to offer."

Fowler had a similar opinion on Watson not wanting to end up in Philadelphia despite the Eagles' ability to offer substantial assets in a trade:

"The Eagles, for example, can offer all three of their first-round picks this year plus veteran players and more. But if Watson doesn't want to play in Philly-which sounds like something we have both heard ... that trade package is a nonstarter."

While Houston will surely take calls from the Eagles, you can't blame Deshaun Watson for not wanting to go there. Compared to other suitors, Watson can play for contenders like Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay or even New Orleans.

There's more money in his future with other teams like the Carolina Panthers and he could have a top-tier threat in receiver Amari Cooper in Cleveland. The Eagles offer little for Watson as a starting quarterback.

Deshaun Watson will carry a cap hit of $40 million in 2022. While the deal can be restructured post-trade, it won't be cheap to acquire Watson long term.

Based on what a team can offer the Texans and how likely Watson is to waive his clause, here are the current odds on who will land the quarterback this year (based on odds from BetMGM):

The Eagles currently have the 8th-best odds to make a deal happen, which isn't good. On the other end of the spectrum, the Seahawks surprisingly have the best odds, considering they could be subject to a changing of the guard at the head coaching position in the near future.

The roster is also in shambles with Tyler Lockett the next potential star to leave Seattle. In reality, it could come down to the Carolina Panthers and Buccaneers.
