With Kareem Hunt, Nick Chubb, and D'Ernest Johnson, the Cleveland Browns have one of the best running back corps in the NFL right now. However, it looks like the depth is about to become a little shallower given Kareem Hunt wants away.

From what we know, the Browns are listening to trade offers for their running back. With his output over the course of the season, he would be a great addition to many teams in the NFL desperately in need of a quality running back.

Kareem Hunt has 3,820 rushing yards to date and 31 career touchdowns. As he shares the backfield with Nick Chubb and others, a better indicator of his output is his rushing yards per attempt. He has a career average of 4.6 and last season he averaged five yards per rushing attempt. Many teams would love to have that kind of output and here we list the top three teams that might want to get him.

#1 - Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are perhaps the strongest team in the NFL at the moment. They have an elite quarterback in Josh Allen and their receiving game is top-tier, putting them in the top bracket of the league. However, if there is one weakness in their offense, it might be the running back position.

While Devin Singletary and company have done a good job so far, they are not in the top tier of NFL teams this season when it comes to rushing yards. They ranked 16th in the league after Week 7 while Kareem Hunt and the Cleveland Browns ranked third.

Before Christian McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers by the Carolina Panthers, there was talk of the Bills trading for him. While they did not get him, a good option would be to trade for Kareem Hunt.

#2 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers slumped to a 3-4 record after Week 7 and scored only three points in their loss to the Carolina Panthers. Much of the focus has been around Tom Brady and whether he still has the capacity to contribute to the offense like he did the past few seasons. Their weaknesses in receiving have been well highlighted and the offensive line's porosity has been discussed as well.

In all of this, their poor output in the running game has escaped attention. They are ranked bottom of the NFL with just 451 yards in running offense. The next worst are the Los Angeles Rams, who have had 22 fewer rushing attempts. Even Leonard Fournette is averaging just 3.7 yards per attempt, much lower than his career four yards per attempt.

While the Buccaneers have relied on a pass-heavy offense over the last two seasons, having a bit more depth in the backfield might not be the worst idea. Having someone like Kareem Hunt, who can threaten both when rushing and receiving, might be of great value to turn the Buccaneers' season around.

#3 - Arizona Cardinals

After letting Chase Edmonds leave, the Arizona Cardinals bet the house on James Conner. Conner had a virtuoso season in 2021 with 18 touchdowns, but such performances were much less likely to be replicated this season. Naysayers have been proven right thus far as he has scored only one touchdown this season. He clearly needs someone elite to share the load with.

This has affected how the Cardinals have performed this season. Last season, they challenged for the top spot in the NFC West with an 11-6 record, finishing second to eventual Super Bowl winners the Los Angeles Rams.

But this season, they prop up the basement of the NFC West with a 3-4 record. Having a dual-threat running back like Kareem Hunt will give them more options to succeed in the division and give them a chance to make the playoffs.
