Alvaro Gonzalez

Álvaro Rafael González Luengo is a Uruguayan footballer who currently plays for Lazio in the Italian Serie A as a midfielder. He began his football career with Defensor Sporting Club in the year 2003 and represented this club until the year 2007 after 122 games with 8 goals. Thereafter, Alvaro soon joined with club Boca Juniors in August 2007 and following performances , he signed with the Italian club Lazio for three-year deal in August 2010. Till now alvaro scored one goal against Velez Sarsfield and made his Serie A debut against Fiorentina on September 18th, 2010. He has won 20 caps for the Uruguay national football team and won the Copa America against Paraguay playing four matches in 2011.
