Naved Latif Biography
Naved Latif is a Pakistani, cricketer, born on February 21, 1976, Naved’s career span was short-lived though till the time he played he served as an aggressive right hand batsman.
Debut
Naved made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in 2001. His International career was short-lived but in his second test in 2001 itself he made the score of 113 against Sri Lanka.
Rise to glory
His rising point was his highest first class score of 394 for Sargodha against Gujranwala in domestic cricket held in the year 2000-01.
Low points
Reason for his short lived career wasn't some injury or fault on his part because of poor performance but was rather the rise in competition and coming of talented batsmen.
He wasn't selected for 2003 World Cup and since then wasn’t spotted much in international cricket as his place in the team was taken up by Taufeeq Umar and Saleem Ilahi as top-order batsmen.
The rise of Imran Farhat and Yasir Hameed as top choices for inclusion in national squad only sidelined him further.

Naved has played for Sargodha in National Junior Cup U19 Championship 1994-1995, Lahore Badshahs in Indian Cricket League 2008, the ICL Pakistan XI in the World Series in 2007.
