Om Prakash Karhana: A Brief Biography

Om Prakash Karhana (born 11 January 1987) is an Indian shot putter who currently holds the indian national record in shot put of 20.69 meters which he achieved in May 2012 at Szombathely, Hungary. He stands at 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 m) tall and weighs 138 kilograms (300 lb). He trains at the Salwan Throws Academy and is supported by Olympic Gold Quest, a not-for-profit foundation to identify and support Indian athletes.
