Ramón Alegre: A Brief Biography
Ramón Alegre Biosca is a field hockey defender from Spain who finished in fourth position with the Men\'s National Team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. His brother David is also a field hockey international for Spain. He was also part of the team that took home the gold in the 2003 Champions Challenge and 2004 Champions trophy. He has also won silver madals for his participation in the 2007 European Championship in Manchester and 2011 Champions Challenge in Auckland. Having formerly played for MHC Laren in The Netherlands, he moved back to Spain, joining his former club Club Egara in the summer of 2005. He claimed the silver medal with the national squad at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
