Thomaz Bellucci: A Brief Biography

Thomaz Cocchiarali Bellucci is a professional tennis player who is the top ranked Brazilian tennis player in the world.He has won a string of ATP Challenger Tour victories early in 2008. He has also won three tour titles, the 2009 and 2012 Swiss Open\'s, and the 2010 Movistar Open. Ever since he began in 2007, he has been rapidly increasing in his race to the top. In February of 2008, he recorded his first-ever ATP match win followed by an amazing string of Challenger match wins in singles play in April. At Wimbledon, he achieved his first win in a Grand Slam event, defeating Igor Kunitsyn in four sets. In August 2009, he won his first title at the Swiss Open in Gstaad climbing a pile of defeated Tennis stars. He then followed his good form to win his second challenger title of the year, at the 2009 Copa Petrobras São Paulo in Brazil. In 2011, Belluci heroically ended Nadal\'s 37–match clay winning streak and won ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament. The following year he won his third career title at the Gstaad Open by defeating Janko Tipsarevic in the final.
