World Series of Poker 2018 was held at Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, USA from May 29, 2018 thru July 17, 2018. This was the 49th annual WSOP event.

WSOP 2018 Main Event Winner


John Cynn

Earning: $9,513,071

Thirty-three year old John from USA won the Main event with $8.8 million. He defeated Tony Miles

in the final hand. Cynn was admittedly overwhelmed at winning the most coveted poker

championship of the world. John entered the bubble, ranking 11th in the WSOP 2016 Main Event.

Cynn has never won a WSOP bracelet in the past and has had 13 WSOP cashes.


WSOP 2018 Bracelet Winners

Here are the WSOP 2018 results for the first 15 events.


Event #1: $565 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold’em

Jordan Hufty

Jordan Hufty won $61,909 in Event #1 at the WSOP 2018. The event had total 566 entries. This

was Jordan’s first bracelet win. He defeated Jodie Sanders in a four-hour long heads-up match.


Event #2: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo Bounty

Elio Fox

Elio Fox from USA won Event #2 with $393,693. There were 243 entries in the event. He was the

Main event champion in WSOPE 2011. This was his second bracelet win. He defeated Adam Adler

in the heads-up.


Event #3: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout

Joe Cada

Joe won his third bracelet in Event #3 of WSOP 2018. He won $226,218 by winning among 363

entries at the event. He won the Main Event in 2009.


Event #4: $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Julien Martini

Julien won his first bracelet in the event among 911 entries. He won $239.771.


Event #5: $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller

Nick Petrangelo

This event had one of the highest buy-ins. Petrangelo won his second bracelet among 105 entries

in the event. He won a whopping $2,910,227.


Event #6: GIANT - $365 No-Limit Hold'em

Jeremy Perrin

Jeremy won $250,966 among the 8,920 entries in the Event #6. This was Perrin’s first bracelet win.


Event #7: Colossus - $565 No-Limit Hold'em

Roberly Felicio

Felicio, a Brazilian restaurant owner, won among 13,070 entrants at the event. He won $1,000,000

upon defeating Sang Liu. This was his first bracelet win.


Event #8: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball

Johannes Becker

Becker won $180,455 by winning against Scott Seiver. He won against the 321 entrants at the

event.


Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship

Paul Volpe

Volpe won $417,921 among 169 players in the event. This was his third Gold bracelet win.


Event #10: $365 WSOP.com Online No-Limit Hold'em

William Reymond

Reymond is a journalist from France. He won $154,996 in the Event #10 of WSOP 2018. There

were 2,972 entries in the even, where Reymond won his first WSOP bracelet and cash.


Event #11: PLO GIANT - $365 Pot-Limit Omaha

Timothy Andrew

Andrew won his first gold bracelet in WSOP at Event #11 of WSOP 2018. He won $117,024 among

the 3,250 players who entered the event.


Event #12: $1,500 Dealers Choice 6-Handed

Jeremy Harkin

Harking won among 406 entries at the event. He won $129,882. This was his first bracelet win.


Event #13: Big Blind Antes $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em

Benjamin Moon

Moon won his first bracelet and first WSOP cash in the event. He won $315,346. There were 1,306

entries at the event.


Event #14: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw

Daniel Ospina

Daniel Ospina won $87,678, defeating 260 players who entered the event. This was Daniel’s first

WSOP bracelet win.


Event #15: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.

Andrey Zhigalov

Zhigalov won his first bracelet in the Event #15 of WSOP 2018. He won $202,787. Zhigalov won

among the 731 entries at the event.
