Rajyavardhan Rathore's son Manavaditya helps India bag gold in Asian Shotgun Championship

Manavditya Rathore, the teenage son of 2004 Athens Olympic silver medallist Rajyavardhan Rathore, blasted his way to an individual bronze medal to help India clinch the team gold in the junior trap event at the 3rd Asian Shotgun Championship in Kazakhstan.

Manavaditya scored 110/125 in the junior trap event qualification round to get his hands on the bronze while his team-mate GS Sharan clinched the individual silver with a score of 119/125.

In the senior category Manavjit Singh Sandhu equalled the Asian trap record of 124/125 in the preliminary stages as he too clinched another bronze for India. The senior team consisting of Manavjit, Zoravar Singh Sandhu and Mansher Singh captured the gold medal in the team category.
