Another Australian in the list for the best bargain players is Simon Orchard, who was bought by Jaypee Punjab Warriors for $58,000. The 29-year old midfielder has won numerous medals while representing his national team which includes 2 World Cup (2010 and 2014) gold medals and a gold at 2010 New Delhi Commonwealth games where they thrashed the hosts India 8-0 in the final.

He has also won gold medals in the FIH Champions Trophy on 2 occasions(2009 and 2012) and a bronze in the 2014 edition. In addition to these, he was also the part of the Kookaburra team which finished 3rd at the 2012 London Olympics.

The charismatic midfielder has played 178 times for his national team, scoring 58 goals in the process.
