Till date, Luis Suarez has six hat-tricks in the Premier league from 109 appearances. This officially makes him the most frequent scorer of hat-tricks in the 22-year history of the Premier League. Three of his six are against Norwich City which is another record in itself.

Some simple math would tell you he averages a hat-trick every 18 matches. That is mind-blowing!

#6 His trademark ears earned him a hearing aid commercial

While the standout features of Suarez are his feet, the commercial world saw something else in him. His tenure at Ajax was marked by him appearing in a hearing aid commercial for a Dutch company.

Apparently, he does have long ears. Suarez could always become an advert star!

#5 Suarez confessed to diving in the media

Expecting any man to confess his mistake would be a tough thought. Luis Suarez had the audacity to do so in front of the whole British media when he openly confessed to diving in a match against Stoke City.

Brendan Rodgers was critical about this and told the media that he would deal with this internally. However, this shows the amount of nerve Suarez possesses.

#4 Liverpool fans rank him higher than Kenny Dalglish

In March 2014, SkySports conducted a poll to determine the greatest Liverpool No.7 of all time. The list contained the likes of Kevin Keegan, Steve Mcmanaman, Ian Callaghan and Kenny Dalglish.

While everyone believed King Kenny to lead the list, Suarez is currently on top. This shows the amount of respect Liverpool fans have for him.

He leads the list by 43%.

#3 Ivanovic was not Suarezs first victim

Suarez’s penchant for dirty behaviour is well-known and widespread. His biting of Ivanovic last year received a lot of stick and resulted in him getting a 10-match ban. However, contrary to popular belief he had done this act during his time at Ajax.

The victim then was PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakkal who was bitten on his shoulder.

He was fined by Ajax and banned for seven games. Suarez then uploaded a video to apologise for his actions. Clearly, he didn’t mean it.

#2 Suarezs hometown Montevideo has its own Liverpool FC

Well, Suarez may now be a top star at Liverpool but his connection to the club dates back to 1993. At that time, he moved to Montevideo as a seven-year old.
