The tall all-rounder of the world cup winning team of 1983, Ravi Shashtri is the team director of Team India. He played 80 tests scoring 3830 runs at 35.79 and picking up 151 wickets. In ODIs, Ravi scored 3108 runs at 29.04 and bagging 109 wickets.
The highlight of his career came during World Championship of cricket in 1985 where he was elected as the player of the tournament. Also, he had become the second player to hit 6 sixes in an over after Gary Sobers.
As we all know, Shastri is one of the best commentators in the world and he took up this career soon after his retirement from international cricket.
