And if you have already seen them, no harm in feasting your eyes again. After all, what can be better than goals! A whole lot of them.Heresthis mid-weeks top strikes.

#1 Andros Townsend vs Swansea

Andros Townsend’s goal against Swansea was reminiscent of ex-Tottenham star Gareth Bale’s brilliant El Clasico strike for Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey last year.

The English international picked up the ball well inside his own half and raced down the left flank into the opposition box before cutting in to unleash a thunderous shot past Swansea keeper Lukasz Fabianski.

#2 Jordan Henderson vs Burnley

Jordan Henderson has been tipped to take over Liverpool's captain’s arm-band from Steven Gerrrard when the club legend finally leaves his boyhood haunt at the end of this season.

Henderson may just have started taking baby steps to try and step into the shoes of the iconic Englishman after this volley from outside of the box against Burnley. This follows his goal against Manchester City over the weekend. The Burnley goal screams ‘Stevie G’ as it is very similar in audacity, style and execution.

#3 Dame N\'Doye vs Sunderland

In a game which would most probably be remembered for the explosive bust-up between managers Gus Poyet and Steve Bruce, Senegalese striker Dame N'Doye turned up with this ‘Del-Piero’esque’ back heel to give Hull City the lead after 15 minutes.

N’Doye, who was pursued by Bruce relentlessly, has definitely rewarded his perseverance, as the striker's goals have been crucial to Hull's resurgence of late.

#4 Mario Gotze vs Eintracht Braunschweig

With Bayern Munich firmly in control of the Bundesliga, the Bavarian giants took another step forward in the German Cup after downing Eintracht Braunschweig 2-0 to reach the quarter-finals.

Mario Gotze showcased his dancing shoes as he dribbled past a couple of defenders, and then followed it up with a cool finish, reminding the world why he is considered to be one of the most talented young players in modern football.

#5 Nacer Chadli vs Swansea City

The match between Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea City saw five brilliant goals scored, as the result ended 3-2 in favour of the home team. The scoring was started off by this acrobatic side-footed volley from Nacer Chadli, who converted off a cracking ball by Danny Rose from the left-flank.

It was a much-needed goal, as it helped calm their nerves down, and allowed Spurs to go on and start playing their natural, aggresive game.

#6 David Alaba vs Eintracht Braunschweig

The mighty Bayern Munich seemed out of their element despite beating Eintracht Braunschweig 2-0. David Alaba was one of the stand-out players for the lacklustre reigning German champions.

The 22-year-old Austrian, who has made it a habit to score ridiculous long rangers, topped up his performance with this cracking free kick that was hit with incredible pace, and had enough swerve on it to bounce off the inside of the woodwork, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

#7 Luis Suarez vs Villareal

Luis Suarez’s luck seems to be changing at Barcelona after the Uruguayan endured a difficult start to his career in Spain.

After a match-winning brace to beat Manchester City at Etihad in the Champions League, Suarez found the net again on the weekend against Granada, and continued his scoring run in the Copa del Rey tie against Villareal. The goal is a typical ‘Suarez’ finish after making a beautiful run, fighting off the defender, and beating the goalkeeper.

#8 Alexis Sanchez vs QPR

The Chilean scored for Arsenal for the first time in eight matches, as he helped his team clinch a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers. The win left the Gunners in third position in the Premier League table, ahead of Manchester United.

He scored with this finish to beat goalkeeper Rob Green from a tight angle, after dancing past a couple of defenders. Guess the slump is over!

#9 Victor Moses vs Everton

Stoke City’s Peter Crouch has recently been getting all the plaudits for scoring with his head. But against Everton, Crouch’s team-mate Victor Moses came up with this unlikely, but cracking header.

Normally we would associate the ex-Liverpool player with going past the defenders and providing the cross rather than rising over the defence to put in a looping header.

#10 Charlie Austin vs Arsenal

Charlie Austin has been in great goal-scoring nick this season, and has been the primary reason that Queens Park Rangers have a very tough home record.

The 25-year-old netted his 15th goal of the season with this cracking goal against Arsenal, where he controlled the ball very well, turned to make space, and then unleashed a thunderbolt of a strike that gave Ospina in the Arsenal goal no chance at all.
