3 best decisions made by WWE COO Triple H on TV

Triple H built ‘The Architect’

An able administrator! Isn’t he?It has been a while since Triple H took over as the COO of the company and he has been doing great. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, the power couple, have been looking after the business for quite a long time now. That is one reason why we don’t have a general manager for RAW or SmackDown. These two have taken hundreds of decisions for the welfare of the business both on TV and backstage. That’s all part of the game and ‘The Game’ obviously has taken some very good decisions in 2015.Talk about bringing Kevin Owens to the roster, promoting Charlotte on to the main roster, promoting NXT on a large scale and what not! As part of this slideshow, let us have a look at 3 onscreen decisions made by Triple H that really helped the business. As was the case with WWE, we have many instances where the decisions were game changers but let me limit the scope to a select few that happened in the recent time.

#3 Seth Rollins\' bookings

Triple H built ‘The Architect’

Don’t get me wrong when I say this. You might be expecting something really specific here but it is my inability to pick the best decision that Triple H made for Seth Rollins. ‘The Game’ was more than a hundred percent right in his selection.

He chose the right guy to invest in. Every decision that Triple H took to book Rollins on TV was spectacular. Be it a ‘Money in the Bank’ victory, be it a cash-in at Wrestlemania 31, be it weekly shows and what not.

Rollins also captained the team of Triple H, “Team Authority”, at Survivor Series 2014. Rollins was also really impressive in the way he utilized the opportunity. He had been the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for more than 220 days and unfortunately, he was stripped off the title after being injured in a WWE live event in Dublin.

Not to mention the way he booked the Championship match at Survivor Series was also really impressive. I know this is all part of the WWE creative’s planning but you know what, the execution matters the most and as far as Triple H is concerned, he is the real ‘Cerebral Assassin’ with this one.

#2 Accepting Daniel Bryan\'s proposal

The Yes movement

Remember the ‘Occupy Raw’ moment in 2014? Daniel Bryan was at the pinnacle of his career in 2014 and he went ahead to challenge Triple H at WrestleMania 30. He took the hard way to put the proposal before the boss.

Bryan took help from some of his fans and started occupying the ring and the arena reverberated with the ‘Yes’ chants. Triple H came out to ask Bryan to vacate the place and this is when Daniel put asked for the match.

‘The Game’ was so irate and he could do nothing but accept the challenge. This decision is what led to an epic display at WrestleMania 30. Daniel did the unthinkable. He fought Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista on the same night and went over to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

It was this night that changed Daniel’s life once and for all. If there is someone that should deserve credit for Daniel’s success in WWE, that would be Triple H. But Daniel is currently out of action due to health issues.

This would hurt all his fans in the WWE but let’s hope that Daniel will recover soon and get clearance to wrestle again.

#1 Bringing back the Beast

Game changing decision

Some decisions are great. Some are phenomenal and some are epic. Now I am talking about something that belongs to the last category. It was in 2014 that Triple H officially announced on RAW that Brock Lesnar has returned to WWE and he will be an active member on the roster.

This changed the landscape of the WWE once and for all. He conquered the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30, took John Cena to Suplex City, won the WWE title and what not. He was part of many battles in the last 18 months and he decimated almost everyone that came in his way.

Brock obviously has the charisma to attract crowds into the arena and that is what WWE capitalized on. He signed a multi-year contract with the company and that would obviously help the cause of the company.

So as far as Triple H is concerned, this is the best onscreen decision that he made as the COO. Brock has already impressed all of us in 2015 by being a part of some epic wrestling matches and he is the biggest asset for the company right now.

As Seth, Cena, Orton are all taking their time out, Brock obviously has a bigger part to play in the coming days.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
