Kathmandu district finished on the top of the table with 7 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze to lift the title of the 9th Nepal National Wushu Championship here at Kathmandu, Nepal.
Amar Sunuwar from Kanchanpur district and Sharmila Rai from Bhojpur district were declared best Men’s and Women’s player in the Sanshou Category while in the Taolu Category, SAG gold medalist Ang Babu Lama from Sindhupalanchok district and Susmita Tamang from Bhaktapur were declared best players in Men’s and Women’s category respectively.
National Sports Council Member Secretary Mr. Yuvaraj Lama distributed prizes on the closing ceremony of the championship. 245 players from 39 districts participated in the 9th edition of the National Wushu Championship.
