1. IPL 6: Chennai Super Kings crush Mumbai Indians to reach fourth consecutive final

Chasing a stiff 193 run target, Mumbai Indians faltered in their chase to be dismissed for 144 and stumbled to a humiliating 48-run loss at the hands of the Chennai Super Kings in the 1st Qualifier of IPL 6. CSK qualified for its fourth consecutive final, making it 5 out of 6 appearances in IPL finals so far.

2. Injured Murray withdraws from French Open

Andy Murray will miss the French Open with the back injury that flared up at the Rome Masters, the world number two announced on Tuesday.

3. Stoke City and Tony Pulis part ways by mutual consent

Stoke City have parted ways with manager Tony Pulis by mutual consent. This comes as a result of a disappointing season as per the standards of the club.

4. Los Angeles Clippers part with coach Del Negro

The Los Angeles Clippers, ousted in the first round of the NBA playoffs, said they won’t bring back head coach Vinny Del Negro.

5. Nibali still in pink, Intxausti wins stage

Astana’s Vincenzo Nibali kept possession of the Giro d’Italia race leader’s pink jersey for another night after a strong showing in Tuesday’s 16th stage.
