Saurav Ghosal falls to Omar Mosaad in last 16 of Windy Open

Saurav Ghosal in action

Indian ace Saurav Ghosal went down to third seed Omar Mosaad of Egypt in the second round, which is the pre-quarterfinal round of the Windy City Squash Open, a PSA world series event in Chicago late on Sunday night. The Egyptian won 13-15, 11-1, 11-7, 11-1 and in the process made it a 2-0 score over the Indian in their two recent meetings.

Omar had meted out the same result on Saurav in the Colombia Open two weeks ago. The only difference this time was that Saurav could extract a game and give an impression of engaging in a gritty fight from there on. But after that vim and vigour of the first game, the Indian just failed to show the same resolve from then on. The slip became a slide and Omar's dominance was complete with clinical efficiency marking his approach to the victory point.
