Delhi Capitals (DC) opener Shikhar Dhawan looked in good touch against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the second match of IPL 2021. The southpaw scored a well-deserved 85 off 54 balls and gave DC the start required to beat CSK. His innings was filled with an array of innovative sweeps and lofts.

The best batting display in Week 1 of the IPL 2021 was from newly-appointed Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper Sanju Samson. Sanju dislodged the Punjab Kings (PBKS) bowlers all over the park en route to his 119-run knock. He smashed 12 fours and 7 sixes, but all in vain as RR fell short by four runs.
