1. Elgin Baylor

Elgin Baylor was the first-ever player to score 70 points in a game. He scored 71 points during LA Lakers vs. New York Knicks game in the 1960-61 NBA season

Wilt Chamberlain is the only player to score at least 70 points in a game multiple times. He did it six times in his career, including a record-breaking 100-point outing.
