On Sunday, Brown was arrested due to an out-of-county warrant for unpaid child support, as per Broward County Sheriff's Department. He was taken into custody from his Dania Beach home.
As per Wiltrice Jackson, the mother of Brown's daughter Antanyiah, she informed TMZ that she sought Brown's arrest for outstanding child support, alleging he owes a total of $30,940.41.
Jackson even stated that Brown often goes for extended periods without visiting their daughter. The Broward County Sheriff's Department verified Brown's release on a $15,000 bond.
The Miami-Dade Police Department issued the warrant, marking a culmination in a lengthy saga. In April, a judge found Brown in arrears, but action stalled until Sunday's arrest.
Jackson stated Brown was “making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he’s untouchable.”
Brown's most recent professional stint was with the Buccaneers in 2021.
