FIFA Women's  World Cup Winners

2003 - Germany

Germany won the 2003 Women's World Cup held in the US, beating Sweden 2-1. USWNT came third in the tournament.

2007 - Germany

In 2007, Germany retained their title as the last European winner with a 2-0 victory over Brazil in Shanghai.

2011 - Japan

Japan won the 2011 Women's World Cup after a 2-2 draw against the USA, decided by penalties.

2015 - USA

USWNT won the 2015 Women's World Cup, beating Japan 5-2 in the replay of the Final. Carli Lloyd scored a memorable hat trick.

2019 - USA

In 2019, the USWNT won back-to-back world titles, beating the Netherlands  2-0 in the Final with goals from Megan Rapinoe and Rose Lavelle.
