JALEN HURTS AND EAGLES AGREE ON MAMMOTH $255M EXTENSION

Jalen Hurts has had an outstanding 2022 season and good times has continued for the Eagles QB into 2023.

Hurts became the youngest Eagles QB to lead Philly to the Super Bowl. He finished the 2022 season with a 14-1 record, with 35 TDs and over 4400 yards.

After getting drafted in 2020, Hurts became a full-time starter in 2021. Since then, he's had 23-11 win-loss record, accounting for over 70 TDs and over 8300 yards.  

Mammoth Contract

On Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles and QB Jalen Hurts agreed on a mammoth $255M contract extension which will see the QB stay in Philly through 2028.

Highest Paid in NFL

With this massive contract which sees Jalen Hurts earning $51 million per year, he now becomes the highest paid QB, edging Aaron Rodgers.

Perfect Timing

This  deal comes in the right time as Hurts just led the Eagles to the Super Bowl. To top it off, he is in the final year of rookie contract and this makes a lot of sense.
