John Cena is set to make his much anticipated return to WWE next week. Ahead of his epic comeback, we take a look at some of his greatest returns thus far.

John Cena was kayfabe stabbed in 2004. In reality, Cena took a break to shoot The Marine. The superstar returned at Survivor Series on Nov. 14, 2004 to reignite his feud with Carlito.

John Cena was put on the shelf due to an elbow injury after SummerSlam 2013. He made his epic comeback at Hell in a Cell. Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

Cena had a rapper gimmick during his first few years in WWE which he dropped in 2005. The Cenation leader brought back his Dr. of Thuganomics gimmick for one night only at WrestleMania 35.

John Cena returned to RAW full time in May 2016. The Cena leader was interrupted by AJ Styles and The Good Brothers. Turned out, it was all a set up by Styles against the franchise player.

Cena suffered a herniated disc in his neck at SummerSlam 2008. He made his grand return at Survivor Series. The comeback was made even more awesome with his first world title win over Chris Jericho.
