Philadelphia Eagles signed Julio Jones

The Eagles bolstered their offense by signing Jones to a one-year deal on Tuesday, further enhancing their already potent offensive lineup.

Jones joined the Eagles as they put Watkins on IR due to a hamstring injury. After trying out Callaway & Patmon on Monday, they chose to sign Jones.

Watkins on IR

Jones was a great WR in the 2010s, leading the NFL in receiving yards twice & receptions in 2015. His performance played a key role in the Falcons making 4 playoff berths, including a SB trip in 2016.

Following 10 years in Atlanta, Jones played for the Titans in 2021 & the Bucs in 2022. Injuries in both stints hindered Jones' performance and playing time.

With the Eagles, Jones reunites with AJ Brown and has the opportunity to team up with Jalen Hurts, who has thrown seven TDs and seven INTs this season.

Following their first loss this season to the Jets last Sunday, the Eagles aim to rebound against the 5-1 Dolphins this week, possibly offering a glimpse of a Super Bowl matchup.
