Top 10 must-watch college football games this week

#10. Washington vs. Arizona – An average Cal team consistently tested the Washington Huskies' defense, and a more skilled Arizona Wildcats team might do the same when the Huskies visit Arizona Stadium. An upset could be on the cards in this Week 5 college football when the Wildcats face off against the No. 7 ranked Washington clash.

#9. Stanford vs. Oregon –  Stanford hasn't been bad under Troy Taylor, but as the Oregon Ducks demonstrated last weekend in their demolition of the highly regarded Colorado Buffaloes, it doesn't really matter. The Stanford Cardinals could be in for a long and dismal afternoon of college football with a hyped-up roster and talented Bo Nix smelling blood.

#8. Auburn vs. Georgia –  The Tigers' fans will be ready to cause commotion at the Jordan-Hare Stadium, making for an exciting college football match against the champions. Georgia hasn't been playing to the high standards we hold them to so far, but they're still undefeated; Auburn on the road may be a difficult speed bump.

#7. Florida vs. Kentucky –  The Florida Gators are 3-1 this season, while the Kentucky Wildcats are 4-0, making for an exciting matchup. Kentucky QB Devin Leary struggled against Vanderbilt, completing only 51.7% of his passes, and Graham Mertz should run the game for the Gators. Regardless, an exciting college football match will be observed.

#6. Nebraska vs. Michigan – The Memorial Stadium will be rocking, and the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines, who have cruised through the season thus far, will have to face the Cornhuskers, who have the Big Ten's best rushing assault, averaging 234.8 yards per game.

#5. Oregon State vs. Utah –  The unbeaten Utah Utes, Pac-12 champions, travel to face the Oregon State Beavers without star quarterback Cam Rising. The Beavers will attempt to capitalize on the Utes' road weaknesses, and standout quarterback DJ Uiagalelei will help lead the offense.

#4. Texas vs. Kansas –  This matchup between No. 3 ranked Texas Longhorns and No. 24 ranked Kansas Jayhawks will certainly be exciting. Although the Longhorns proved their mettle by defeating Alabama in Tuscaloosa, there were flaws. The Jayhawks have a quality quarterback in Jalon Daniels, who might cause problems for the Longhorns.

#3. Duke vs. Notre Dame –  No. 17 rated Duke has already taken a significant scalp this season, defeating Dabo Swinney's Clemson, and the Fighting Irish will be wary of a clever opponent. Following a heartbreaking loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes, the No. 11 rated Fighting Irish will look to rebuild themselves as a top team in the college football pecking order.

#2. Mississippi vs. LSU –  Ole Miss is coming off a humiliating loss to the teetering giants, Alabama, and quarterback Jaxson Dart was lackluster in that game. Although LSU has won six of the last seven encounters between the teams, Ole Miss won the most recent matchup in Oxford. Definitely an entertaining tie.

#1. Colorado vs. USC –  Deion Sanders leads his injured team into a game against the USC Trojans, who are led by Lincoln Riley. Despite the Buffaloes' mauling at Oregon, this is the Week 5 marquee matchup for obvious reasons. The spotlight follows Sanders and the Buffaloes wherever they go, and Coach Prime will want to limit huge losses like last weekend's to a minimum. Caleb Williams will have the opportunity to make his case for a second Heisman Trophy.
