Top 5 Surprising Inclusions in 2nd Fan Returns of 2023 NBA All-Star Game, Featuring Kawhi Leonard, LaMelo Ball and more

The fan votings have gotten underway for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game. 2nd returns have also logged in and some surprising names have made the list.

Fans seem to have been biased with how the voting has gone so far. Evidently, some players just haven't done enough to warrant a trip to the 2023 All-Star game.

Here's a look at the top 5 surprising inclusions in 2nd Fan Returns of 2023 NBA All-Star Game

Kawhi Leonard's talent and popularity isn't in question. However, he hasn't been available this season. He has played only 19 games averaging 18.2 PPG so far this season.

LaMelo Ball is another player that has battled with injuries. He has averaged 23.6 PPG across 19 games, but the Hornets are 11-32, so there's more reasons not to include him in the voting this year.

Derrick Rose's popularity among NBA fans is on fleek again. The former MVP plays in a sporadic role off the bench for Knicks and is far from the All-Star caliber talent he once was.

The LA Lakers faithful are simply going out of their way to get Austin Reaves to the All-Star game. Reaves has had a solid sophomore year, but he certainly hasn't reached All-Star caliber play yet.

Kevon Looney has emerged as a fan favorite with the Dubnation, and akin to Reaves, his inclusion after the 2nd fan returns is also based of his popularity among the Warriors fanbase.
