Andrew Luck was the most wanted QB during his senior year in high school. He was considered to be the next big thing to replace Colts legend, Peyton Manning.
Luck was a genuine threat. He was one among the coldest QBs during his time. He was a gunslinger and his running game was impeccable.
During what was probably the beginning of his prime, Luck shocked the world when he announced his retirement in 2019.
Luck won the Comeback Player of the Year in 2018. And the Colts were preparing for next season by upgrading the offensive line. But Luck’s retirement took everyone by storm.
Andrew endured a terrible injury stretch for a QB of his skill. He missed over one and half seasons due to injuries, before eventually retiring.
"I've been stuck in this process… It's taken the joy out of this game. The only way forward for me is to remove myself from football… But it is the right decision for me."
Post retirement, Luck has stayed under the radar. He’s become the family man that he aspired to be. He's spending more time with his wife Nicole Pechanec, and their daughter, Lucy.
