A distressing incident occurred in the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Giants and Bills in Week 6 when Bills RB Harris suffered a neck injury during the 2nd quarter.
During the game, as the Bills faced a third-&-1 situation at the 3:32 mark, Harris had his first carry, gaining one yard. But, he collided with Giants LB Okereke, who forcefully brought him down.
The harrowing impact brought the game to a halt, leaving Harris immobile on the field and necessitating immediate assistance from the Bills' medical team.
After a few moments, Harris was placed on a stretcher. He signaled with a thumbs-up before being taken from Highmark Stadium, receiving applause from the crowd in acknowledgment.
