During Week 6 against the Patriots, Raiders' QB Garoppolo sustained a back injury, forcing him to exit the game & subsequently ruled out from returning.
This is a huge blow for the Raiders. With Garoppolo sidelined, Hoyer will guide the offense, & McDaniels will lead the Raiders in their quest to defeat Belichick.
As per Raiders insider Heidi Fang, Garoppolo has been transported to a hospital by ambulance due to what appears to be a severe injury.
This is an ongoing situation, & more info will be provided once it becomes public. Garoppolo previously missed a game this season due to a concussion, & injuries have affected his career.
During the recent offseason, he inked a three-year contract with the Raiders and was gradually hitting his stride.
Regrettably, Garoppolo won't have the opportunity to guide his team to a victory against the franchise that originally selected him.
