Andrews suffered an ankle injury in Thursday's win vs the Bengals. Harbaugh, in the postgame conference, said the team fears the severity might keep him out for the rest of the year.
“Unfortunately, on the negative side, Mark Andrews has a very serious ankle injury. It looks like a season-ending injury."
“Our prayers will be with Mark. Nobody cares more about the team & being there for the guys than Andrews, so this is going to be hard for him but we’re going to be there for him all the way.”
Before leaving on Thursday, Andrews made 2 receptions for 23 yards.
“That’s the guy who I went to the league with. My bread & butter, peanut butter & jelly, that’s my receiver sometimes. For him to go out in the 1st quarter, when he was having a great year.. that’s tough.”
In Andrews' absence, Isaiah Likely takes over as Ravens' primary tight end.
