The Arizona Cardinals' struggling roster is further compounded by Kyler Murray's uncertain status in the NFL.
The star quarterback has shown clear signs of recovery and readiness to play, but on Saturday, a source gave ESPN some unsettling news.
"It just doesn't feel like [Murray's return] is imminent."
The Cardinals don't plan to promptly reinstate Murray after he misses his fourth game against the San Francisco 49ers this season.
They have a window of 5 weeks to delay his return, so he's expected back in late October unless he is somehow traded as part of a purge under Gannon & Ossenfort.
Regardless of the outcome, the NFL's 2022 underperformers may retain their status as one of the worst teams in 2023.
