The 2022 NFL season has officially come to an end. KC Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 to win their second championship under Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid.
Now, the 2023 off-season has begun and all eyes point towards the draft in April. With the lowest record in the league (3-14) in the 2022 season, the Bears hold the first-overall pick in the draft.
The top two prospects in the upcoming draft are Alabama’s Bryce Young and Ohio State’s C. J. Stroud. Let’s look at the teams that could possibly trade up for the first-overall pick in the draft.
The Raiders are with a backup QB in Jared Stidham. They will be looking to trade up and pursue the top prospects in the draft, in a move to help their talented pool of WRs.
Although the Colts acquired Matt Ryan last year, they will be active in the QB market. Owner Jim Irsay has made it clear that the Colts would be looking to target Bryce Young.
Brady has retired. The Bucs are in dire need of a star QB. Having an offensive powerline with Godwin and Evans, the Bucs will be looking to pair them with a good QB.
Having won the NFC South, the Bus will have to be aggressive in moving up to the first pick since they are not drafting until the 19th overall.
