On and off the court, college basketball has produced numerous legends. Coaches that have guided their teams to numerous triumphs, titles, and unforgettable moments are among them. Let’s take a look at some of the all-time winningest coaches.

Roy Williams - One of the best college basketball coaches in history was Roy Williams. With 903 victories in 33 seasons, he is fifth all-time in wins. He guided Kansas and North Carolina to the pinnacle of their respective sports. After serving the Tar Heels for 18 years, he put his whistle away in 2021.

Bob Huggins - In Division I men's basketball, Bob Huggins is the third-winningest active coach. He was as a journeyman coaching at Walsh (NAIA), Akron, Cincinnati, Kansas State, and West Virginia, among other colleges. In 40 seasons, he has amassed 916 victories and 399 defeats for a win percentage of.697.
Huggins has won two NCAA Final Fours, the OVC Tournament once, and multiple Coach of the Year awards. His coaching tree includes young and upcoming coaches like Darris Nichols and Joe Mazzulla. Huggins is also a part of the Basketball Hall of Fame since 2022.
Jim Calhoun - In collegiate basketball, Jim Calhoun is a legend. With 920 victories over the course of his 44-year career, he is third on the list of all-time winners. He was the successful leader of three programs: Northeastern, UConn, and St. Joseph (CT). With a 0.699-win rate against his rivals, he outperformed them by winning seven out of every ten games he oversaw.

Calhoun has won three NCAA Division I tournaments, and seven Big East Tournaments over his career. The Basketball and College Basketball Hall of Famer also won the John R. Wooden Legends of Coaching Award as well as multiple Coach of the Year Awards.

Jim Boeheim - Only Coach Krzyzewski has more victories in Division I men's basketball than Jim Boeheim. Throughout his whole 46-year coaching career, he has been devoted to Syracuse, leading the Orange to 998 victories and 426 defeats for a.701 winning %. The only coaches to accumulate 1,000 victories at a single institution are he and Tennessee's Pat Summitt.
The 2010 Naismith College Coach of the Year has an NCAA D1 tournament win under his belt along with multiple Big 10 East tournament wins. Boeheim was also a part of Coach K’s coaching staff on the Team USA teams that won Gold Medals at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympics.
Mike Krzyzewski - Mike Krzyzewski is the DI men's basketball coach with the most wins. Coach K, as the great coach was often known, has a 47-year career record of 1,202-368, or a.766 victory %. He began his career in 1975 at Army West Point before moving to Duke in 1980, where he spent the next 42 seasons making history. In 2022, he put his whistle away.

With five National Championship wins including a back-to-back in 1991 and 1992, Coach K has an amazing resume for his college as well as National team career. Krzyzewski has coached Team USA to five gold and two bronze medals. The legendary coach has won three Naismith College Coach of the Year honors and is a part of the College Basketball as well as Basketball Hall of Fame.
