WWE superstars often tend to live like rockstars. From Ric Flair to Hulk Hogan, there have been Superstars that have become accustomed to the “live fast, die young” motto, which has been prevalent in the business for decades.

Those involved in the business are used to dating different women, more often than not, their peers. In the past, we’ve seen couples forming alliances, or being involved in storylines in some capacity. Sometimes, things don’t work out between them, and that usually results in one of them being taken off TV.

Today, we take a look at the eleven former partners of past and present WWE Superstars that fans have forgotten about.

#11 WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix - CM Punk

Whenever the personal life of Beth Phoenix is mentioned, the first name that comes to mind is Edge. Phoenix has two children with the former world champion, and the couple tied the knot in 2016. However, before she started dating Edge, the former Divas champion was in a relationship with CM Punk.

The couple, however, parted ways in 2012 when Beth Phoenix left WWE.

Just after the break-up, Punk would talk trash about an ex in a radio interview:

"It pisses me off to watch people you love and admire become complete d*****bags. That's what it is. People just flake."

Punk married AJ Lee a few years after this break-up, and is entertaining the fans with his exceptional performances in AEW.

#10 Debra - ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin

‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin will go down as the greatest Superstars in wrestling history. The Rattlesnake smashed several records and cemented his legacy as the biggest box office draw in wrestling history. With Austin spearheading Vince McMahon's promotion into the Attitude Era, there was no turning back.

It was during the Attitude Era that the wrestling behemoth hired a very attractive Debra. Debra worked for WCW before jumping ship to WWE and soon started dating Austin. The couple married in 2000, and Debra was often seen accompanying Austin - more so during his heel run with the company.

However, in 2002, Austin was dragged through a high-profile case of domestic abuse when the authorities arrested Austin for assaulting Debra. Austin and Debra then filed for divorce in 2003, and Debra hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since.

#9 Victoria - John Cena

Victoria will go down as one of the most talented and underrated women’s wrestlers in the industry. She is a former two-time WWE Women’s Champion, and a five-time TNA Knockouts Champion, making her one of the most decorated women’s wrestlers of this generation.

Victoria competed in WWE from 2000 to 2009 and was involved in memorable rivalries against the likes of Trish Stratus and Lita.

Kenn Doane, who worked for under the ring name Kenny from the Spirit Squad, revealed during an interview that Cena dated Victoria back in 2006 - 2007. However, Victoria rubbished those claims, but said she did date Cena way back in 2002.

While John Cena went on to become one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Victoria left the company in 2009, and went on to Impact Wrestling (then TNA).

#8 Ashley Massaro - Matt Hardy

When you talk about Matt Hardy and his love affairs, you immediately think about Lita and their high-profile break-up. Matt found out that Lita was having an affair with his friend Edge while they were still in a relationship. This led to Matt venting on his website, leading to fans getting in on their dirty laundry.

After Matt was rehired by WWE, he began dating Ashley Massaro. Ashley won the RAW Diva Search back in 2005, winning $250,000 and a one-year contract. Massaro then revealed that she was dating Matt Hardy and that they were very happy together.

However, things didn’t work out between the two, and they soon broke up. Massaro sadly passed away in 2019 at the age of 39.

#7 Terri Runnels - Goldust

Goldust was one of the most controversial characters in WWE. Back when he made his debut, he donned the role of a drag queen, who was obsessed with everything gold. But in 1996, Goldust’s real life wife, Terri was brought in as his manager. Terri, now working as Marlena, managed Goldust from 1996 to 1998.

After the pair separated on-screen, Goldust replaced Marlena with Luna Vachon. Terri and Dustin separated in 1999, after which she worked for the promotion for another 5 years. Terri also won the Hardcore Championship, only to drop it back to Stevie Richards moments later.

#6 Marc Mero - Sable

While we’ve talked about women’s wrestlers and divas that have been forgotten, this pick goes against the norm. Sable is currently married to Brock Lesnar, and was known as one of the raciest divas during her time with the company. Sable also posed for Playboy on three separate occasions and is a former Women’s Champion.

However, when Sable came to WWE, it wasn’t her that was supposed to “get over”. Sable managed her then real-life husband, Marc Mero, who got into a feud with Triple H. Sable managed Mero until 1997 when he was sidelined due to an injury.

During his absence, Sable got over with the fans and later split from Mero on-screen. Sable and Marc went their separate ways in 2004, after which she married Lesnar. While very few remember Marc Mero’s WWE stint, everyone remembers Sable and her time with the company.

#5 Billy Kidman - Torrie Wilson

Similar to the Sable-Marc Mero story, Torrie Wilson and Billy Kidman got hitched in 2003. Before that, Kidman was seen as the next generation Superstar while working for WCW, where he won the Cruiserweight Championship.

When WWE purchased WCW, they bought Kidman’s contract. Billy ended up winning the Cruiserweight title four additional times and also won tag team gold. While today’s fans might not remember Kidman, they would certainly remember Torrie Wilson, who is considered to be one of the greatest divas of all time.

Torrie also posed for Playboy twice and was a part of some of the most controversial angles at the time - including her on-screen “relationship” with the likes of Dawn Marie and Sable.

#4 Sara - The Undertaker

The Undertaker is arguably the greatest professional wrestler to have put on a pair of wrestling boots. The Deadman is happily married to former Divas Champion, Michelle McCool. Before McCool, however, The Undertaker was married to Sara, who appeared on television during The Undertaker’s feud with DDP and Brock Lesnar.

When Diamond Dallas Page first appeared in WWE, he was revealed as Sara’s stalker, thus starting a program with The Undertaker. Sara once again appeared on television during The Undertaker’s feud with Brock Lesnar, where Lesnar laid his hand on The Undertaker’s pregnant wife.

#3 Miss Kitty - Jerry “The King” Lawler

Jerry “The King” Lawler was one of the biggest names in the 80’s and early 90’s. Lawler became synonymous with AWA before jumping ship to WWE. After wrapping up his in-ring career, Lawler, along with Jim Ross, became the voice of WWE, as the duo reminded the fans of Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan on commentary.

In 1999, “Miss Kitty” Stacy Carter made her WWE debut, winning the Women’s Championship in December. Jerry and Stacy started dating in 1989 and finally tied the knot in 2000.

Carter was released from WWE in 2001, which prompted Jerry Lawler to quit the promotion as well. However, Jerry and Carter decided to go their separate ways later that year, and by the end of 2001, Jerry found himself back in Vince McMahon's company.

#2 Sunny - Shawn Michaels

Over two decades ago, Shawn Michaels accused Bret Hart of having an affair with former WWE Diva, Sunny. In reality, however, it was Michaels who dated Sunny during their time in WWE. Many of their peers have talked about how Shawn and Sunny used to partake in certain activities backstage.

Sunny is considered to be the “original diva” in the company and played a big part in the real life animosity between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. In fact, the management and Vince McMahon himself were big fans of Sunny and gave her a prominent role on-screen.

While Sunny was inducted into the Hall of Fame a few years ago, she has largely remained an afterthought, while Shawn Michaels has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest of all time.

#1 Zahra Schreiber - Seth Rollins

You’d be forgiven if you did not know or remember who Zahra Schreiber is. In fact, her claim to fame was rather unflattering. A couple of years ago, Seth Rollins was caught in the midst of a controversy when his ex-fiance posted lewd images of Rollins and Zahra on his social media accounts.

It was then revealed that she did it out of spite. Seth and Zahra dated for a while, with Zahra working on NXT. However, she was fired from her job when her past tweets and images were brought to the management’s attention, with Nazi memorabilia in Schreiber’s house. Rollins and Zahra broke up, and she continues to compete on the independent circuit.
