Vince McMahon is rarely pictured outside of WWE

We’ve all seen Vince McMahon as a snarling heel on television and as a serious producer backstage, but have you ever seen him posing on The Undertaker’s motorbike or taking pictures with a famous footballer/soccer player?

If the answer is yes, you might just be the biggest Mr McMahon fan around. If not, then get ready to check out a few rare moments from the WWE owner’s life.

In this article, we guide you through 10 photos of Vinny-Mac that you might not have seen before.

#10 Vince on The Undertaker's motorbike

Vince McMahon still has time for fun and games backstage

When The Undertaker officially confirms his retirement from the squared circle, he will be best remembered for spending 23 of his 27 years in WWE playing “The Deadman”.

However, four of those years – between 2000 and 2004 – were spent playing an intimidating American biker character who made his way to and from the ring on a motorbike.

Vince apparently much preferred his “Deadman” character, but at least he got to have some fun along the way by posing on ‘Taker’s bike backstage.

#9 Vince working alongside Andre The Giant

Vince McMahon says he'll always value his friendship with Andre The Giant

WWE is all about larger-than-life characters and personalities, and very few Superstars over the years have been quite as large as Andre The Giant.

“The Eighth Wonder of the World”, pictured here with the over-the-top announcer version of Vince McMahon, was involved in one of the most memorable WrestleMania matches of all time against Hulk Hogan and is among the most beloved performers in WWE history.

Vince announced in 2017 that a special HBO documentary is being made about Andre – expected to be released in April 2018 – so expect to hear plenty of stories about the man from Grenoble over the next few months.

It's rare to see The Undertaker out of character

In a 2015 interview with Muscle & Fitness, Vince McMahon named The Undertaker as his favourite wrestler of all time, so it’s no great surprise that the two appear to get along great in real life.

John Bradshaw Layfield is known to be a close friend of Vince, too, while ‘Taker was a groomsman at the former SmackDown Live commentator’s wedding.

#7 Vince and Shane McMahon share an emotional moment

The McMahons were overcome with emotion at WrestleMania 32

It’s not often you see bold, brash, billionaire Vince McMahon with tears in his eyes, but this picture with son Shane McMahon after his return match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 was one of those times where emotions ran wild.

Shane O’Mac revealed to Mick Foley on a ‘Tell-All Podcast’ on the WWE Network in 2016 that Vince very rarely hands out praise to him and that this was a rare moment where he received a pat on the back from his father.

#6 McMahon family photo

Why was this not Vince McMahon's ring attire?

We couldn’t compile a list of rare Vince McMahon pictures without including a family photo, could we?

It’s not clear exactly when this image of Vince, Linda, Stephanie and Shane McMahon is from, but one imagines they would never have foreseen at the time that they would one day be standing across a WWE ring from each other.

If that brought back some unfortunate “McMahon in every corner!” WrestleMania flashbacks for anyone, we do apologise.

#5 Vince celebrates Hulk Hogan's birthday

Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan have a lot of history together

In Vince McMahon’s early days as an on-screen WWE personality, wherever there was a spotlight, he was there. However, he very rarely makes appearances on Raw and SmackDown Live these days and spends most of his time in front of a TV monitor backstage.

This rare image shows Vince making a brief appearance after Raw went off the air in August 2014 to celebrate Hulk Hogan’s birthday. The two shared a hug and the WWE owner then quickly darted off to the back while “The Hulkster” continued posing.

#4 Vince and R-Truth - best friends?

Vince McMahon is a huge fan of R-Truth

This picture of Vince McMahon and R-Truth sharing a joke in Tribute To The Troops 2011 has surfaced a few times before. In fact, it’s become so popular in meme form that there’s a good chance you might have already seen it.

Former WWE Superstar Ryback said on his ‘Conversation With The Big Guy’ podcast in 2017 that Truth is “one of Vince’s favourite people in the whole world”.

If that’s the case, we can only assume that we will be seeing more from the former United States champion in the years to come!

#3 Dimitar Berbatov meets Vince

Dimitar Berbatov couldn't believe his luck when he bumped into Vince McMahon

As a special treat to you football/soccer fans out there, we bring you Dimitar Berbatov’s surprise meeting with Vince McMahon in 2014.

The former Manchester United and Tottenham striker grew up as a WWE fan and happened to bump into Mr McMahon during his time playing for Monaco.

Berbatov wrote on Facebook at the time: “Like a big fan of WWE, the random meeting with the owner of WWE, Vince McMahon, was a great surprise..:)))”

#2 The Vince tattoo

Taking things a little too far?

If you have a picture of Vince McMahon on your shirt, you’re a dedicated WWE fan. However, if you have a picture of Vince McMahon tattooed on a body part, that’s taking your WWE fandom to a whole different level.

During a convention in September 2017, Jerry Lawler met a fan who had an image of Mr. McMahon's angry face permanently inked on his left butt cheek.

Strange? Yes. Dedicated? Absolutely!

#1 Vince has a rest in The Undertaker's coffin

Vince McMahon was testing the coffin out for size

When you see how much fun Vince McMahon is having with The Undertaker’s motorbike and coffin gimmicks in these backstage pictures, it’s no wonder he ranks “The Deadman” as his favourite WWE Superstar of all time.

This picture of Vince laying in a coffin meant for The Ultimate Warrior, with a pre-make-up Paul Bearer looking on, was taken in 1991 during the storyline between Warrior, Undertaker and Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
