Triple H has made notable contributions to the WWE

Triple H has done many things in wrestling that no other wrestler has. Some will say this is because of backstage politics and his marriage to Stephanie McMahon. Although it's hard to deny it, in this case, Triple H seems to have mastered the backstage game of the wrestling industry more than any other who has come before him, aside from possibly Vince McMahon himself.

The 14x world champion has arguably had the greatest career of any wrestler ever. Now in his late 40s, Triple H is able to spend most of his time working as a top executive in the company and only wrestling on the big shows. He's got it made, in other words.

This article takes a look at ten things that only Triple H has ever accomplished in WWE.

#10 Triple H unmasked Kane

Triple H is the only person in the world who can take credit for the unmasking of Kane. He did so by defeating him at Madison Square Garden on an episode of Monday Night Raw on June 23rd, 2003.

Kane was a babyface at the time and Triple H was a heel. From the moment Kane was unmasked, however, he turned back into his evil, dark persona. Many were surprised to learn that Kane's face wasn't badly burned as Paul Bearer told us it had been, however. We would later learn that Paul Bearer had inflicted psychological damage to Kane that made him believe his face was hideously disfigured.

The unmasking of Kane is just one of many things only Triple H can lay claim to.

#9 Most Theme Songs of Any Wrestler Ever

While official records are not kept for such things, there can be little doubt that Triple H has had more theme songs created for him than any other wrestler in the WWE history.

In total, "The Game" has had 13 different themes in WWE. Easily a record.

Many of Triple H's original themes, such as "Blue Blood", were created by Jim Johnston. Later, Triple H would have themes created by heavy metal icons, Motorhead. During the Attitude Era, there was even the D-X band, which created his D-X themes.

He's had some theme music only used once during WrestleManias as well, adding to his lofty total.

#8 Most Losses at WrestleMania

While his detractors love to hate on Triple H's tendency to bury others for the sake of making himself look good, nobody can deny he has put over a lot of wrestlers at WrestleMania.

In fact, nobody has put over more Superstars on the biggest night of the year than Triple H has.

Triple H holds the record for most losses ever at WrestleMania with 12. He just recently set the record by passing his longtime friend, Shawn Michael's, a total of 11 losses.

The Ultimate Warrior, Kane, Undertaker 3x, Chris Benoit, John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, Daniel Bryan, and Seth Rollins have all gotten wins over Triple H at WrestleMania.

#7 Faced the Undertaker 3x at WrestleMania

Nobody has faced the Undertaker more times at WrestleMania than Triple H has. The 48-year-old has faced the Deadman at WrestleMania on three occasions.

Triple H was Undertaker's tenth straight victim at WrestleMania 17. This was when WWE commentators first started focussing on the fact that the Undertaker was undefeated at WrestleMania. They would continue mentioning it for the next decade and a half.

Taker would defeat Triple H again at WrestleMania 27. This would lead to the two facing each other for a third and final time at WrestleMania 28, this time inside Hell in a Cell with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee. Taker still won and continued his streak.

#6 Retired Cactus Jack

While Mick Foley would eventually return to WWE, it was Triple H who ended his career as a full-time WWE superstar. Foley would be back periodically but only for short periods of time.

While fans didn't know it at the time, Mick Foley had told Vince McMahon that he was ready to retire. The decision was made to have Foley lose a match with his career on the line at No Way Out 2000. The match took place inside Hell in a Cell and featured several big spots, including Foley being driven through the roof of the cell. In the end, Triple H won and Cactus Jack retired.

Foley was back just a few months later for WrestleMania but he wouldn't be back for long. He would only wrestle as Cactus Jack once more in his career when he lost to Randy Orton at Backlash 2004.

#5 Most Victories Inside the Elimination Chamber

Triple H holds the record for most victories in Elimination Chamber matches with our wins. Only HHH, John Cena, and Edge have won more than once, with Cena being the second-winningest wrestler with three victories.

Chris Jericho has actually appeared in the most chamber matches with eight. He's only ever won once, however. Jericho also holds the record for most eliminations in elimination chamber matches with ten.

Triple H has only ever been in 6 elimination chamber matches, winning 66% of them.

#4 Beat Sting at WrestleMania

Triple H is the only person on the planet who can lay claim to having defeated Sting at WrestleMania. Granted, Triple H is also the only person to have faced Sting at WrestleMania, though that doesn't downplay the significance of this achievement.

Many felt the one WWE match that the company had to make was Sting vs Undertaker at WrestleMania. They finally got Sting to agree to come into the company and what gigantic match did they make that year? Sting vs Triple H with Triple H winning.

Undertaker faced Bray Wyatt that year instead of Sting. Now Sting has retired due to injuries and we will never see the landmark match many wanted. Although, Triple H got his win.

#3 1st Bad Guy to Win Main Event of WrestleMania

Triple H was the first "bad guy" to win the main event of WrestleMania. By the main event of WrestleMania, we mean the final match of the show, not WWE's version of the main event which sometimes means three or four different matches on the show all being declared the main event.

It was WrestleMania 2000 and the final match of the night was a 4-Way elimination match featuring Triple H, the Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and Mick Foley. The McMahon family was heavily involved in helping Triple H keep his title that night but it was the first time a bad guy walked into the main event of WrestleMania and got his hand raised. Others have done it since but Triple H was the first.

For 15 straight years, stars like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart defeated bad guys to close the biggest show of the year. Triple H would be the first bad guy to buck the trend.

#2 Performed Simulated Necrophilia on Monday Night Raw

Well, nobody can argue that Triple H is the only wrestler on the planet to ever perform simulated necrophilia on Monday Night Raw. Mark Henry may have done some gross things as well, but never that.

Fans will never forget the infamous "Katie Vick" angle between Kane and Triple H in the fall of 2002, as much as they might want to.

In the storyline, Triple H began berating Kane for an apparent car accident he had been in as a youngster that killed his then-girlfriend, Katie Vick. How this occurred while Kane was living as a recluse near his family's funeral home is not currently known.

Triple H then created a video of Kane involved in simulated acts of indecency with a doll made to look like Katie Vick in a coffin. The angle was universally ridiculed.

#1 Fathered Vince McMahon's Grand Daughters

You have to hand it to Triple H. While many wrestlers grow up dreaming of one day impressing Vince McMahon so much he puts them on Monday Night Raw, Triple H played the backstage politics game so well he not only became a successful wrestler he actually combined his DNA with the McMahon's.

By combining his house with the McMahons, Triple H made wrestling royalty out of his offspring, thereby guaranteeing his bloodline stays at the top of WWE for as long as the McMahon family is. That is to say, he's got the Levesque bloodline permanently positioned as pro-wrestling royalty.

In the Game of Thrones world of pro-wrestling, Triple H and his family are now poised to sit on the Iron Throne.
