10 WWE records no one's broken till date... And probably no one will, ever!

10. Santino Marella’s 1-second Royal Rumble record

Santino Marella, just like every other Superstar, entered the 2009 Royal Rumble hoping to win it. Little did he know that he wouldn’t last in the ring for more than a second, as he met a clothesline from Kane and went out of the ring as fast as he entered it. The funny part about his elimination was the way he shouted “I wasn’t ready” after his elimination. This unwanted record can only be broken by Marella himself.

9. WrestleMania III attendance record

The third edition of WrestleMania saw a record breaking attendance of 93,173 fans, who witnessed Andre the Giant’s 15-year long undefeated streak come to an end at the hands of Hulk Hogan. With the next two WrestleMania stadiums only affording around 80,000 seats, it doesn’t look like that this record will break any time soon.

8. The Rock’s 3-second pinfall win over the Big Boss Man

This happened during the first round of the ’98 Survivor Series tournament to decide the WWF Champion. The Big Boss Man came as a replacement for the injured Triple H. As soon as he entered the ring he was rolled for a pin by The Rock, giving the latter a 3-second win. This record can be equalled, but it can’t be broken.

7. Kane’s Royal Rumble records

Kane eliminated 11 other Superstars in the 2001 Royal Rumble. He dominated the Rumble from beginning to end; unfortunately he couldn’t win it, being the last one to get eliminated at the hands of Stone Cold. This is a record that has been intact for over 12 years; wrestlers will try to break this record next month as well, but eliminating more than one third of the challengers isn’t an easy task. Kane has also made a record 16 Royal Rumble appearances; the only active wrestler who stands close to this record is Big Show with nine appearances. Kane has also made it to the final six, a record seven times.

6. Stone Cold’s record of 3 Royal Rumble wins

This is a far tougher Royal Rumble task than Kane’s 11 eliminations. One might somehow eliminate 12 other Superstars, but winning three Rumbles isn’t easy at all, which Austin made possible through his ’97, ’98 and ’01 Rumble wins. Other superstars who stand close to Stone Cold are Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and John Cena (two wins each). Cena is the only active wrestler out of these three, and stands a chance to equal or maybe even surpass Austin’s record. But with increasing competition in the WWE, it doesn’t seem an easy task for Cena.

5. Andre the Giant’s 15-year unbeaten streak

“The Eighth Wonder of the World” was unbeaten from 1973 to 1987 in the WWF, ultimately losing to Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania III. This is one of those records which one can’t even think to break, unless, like the Undertaker, one decides to participate in only match every year, and that too for 16 years.

4. Most Matches in WWE history

Kane has made 957 appearances in the WWE, 164 more than second placed Big Show (793). Kane has been working hard in the WWE since day one. Not only his hard work, but even his injury-resisting ability has helped him in becoming the only WWE Superstar to come this close to 1,000 appearances. It’s a record unlikely to be broken any time soon.

3. Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak

If there is something like the impossible in the world, then it must be the Undertaker’s 21-0 winning streak in WrestleMania. It is not only a WWE record but also a record in all of sports entertainment. He has defeated the best wrestlers of the WWE which includes Hall of Famers, future Hall of Famers and current top Superstars. This streak is memorable as well as unbreakable.

2. Bruno Sammartino’s WWE Championship reign

Bruno Sammartino’s Championship reign lasted for 2,803 days. He won the title on May 17, 1963 by defeating Buddy Rogers and lost it to Ivan Koloff on January 18, 1971. He didn’t defend the title as frequently as wrestlers nowadays do, but it remains a WWE record, one which can’t be broken.

1. The Fabulous Moolah’s Women’s Championship reign

If Sammartino’s 7-year long reign wasn’t unbelievable enough for you, then The Fabulous Moolah’s 28-year long Women’s Championship reign will certainly cause your eyes to pop out. Her reign lasted from 1956 to 1984, a reign that spanned four decades. Nowadays, a Diva doesn’t even last for a decade in the WWE. This record is the most impressive when it comes to a title reign.
