5 WWE Superstars that could be the next Brock Lesnar

Enter capti

He's called "the Beast Incarnate" due to his relentless, destructive persona. He's dangerously feared by all, and very few have been able to way to put together a successful game plan to defeat Lesnar. Simply put, it's nearly impossible to steal a victory from the Conqueror.

With this in mind, Brock is probably nearing the end of his incredible career. While he did recently turn 40 years old, I'm sure he could still perform at a high level for several more years. However, I just don't believe Lesnar has a desire to be a WWE Superstar much longer. In fact, I think Brock would rather retreat back to his cabin and hunt Elk for the rest of his life.

With all things considered, I think it's safe to assume Brock Lesnar has less than 2 years of part-time work left in his tank. If that is the case, who will step up to the plate and attempt to fill his shoes? Is there someone on one of the WWE rosters capable of leading a path of destruction the way Lesnar has done for so many years?

After carefully studying all of the current WWE rosters, I have compiled the following list of current Superstars who could potentially fill the role as "the next Brock Lesnar."

#5 Baron Corbin

Will The Lone Wolfe use the MITB briefcase as a catalyst for bigger things?
Will The Lone Wolfe use the MITB briefcase as a catalyst for bigger things?

Baron Corbin has been an interesting story to watch unfold since he signed with the WWE. However, he has certainly arrived now and seems to be on a fast track to the top.

Baron has some similarities to Brock Lesnar in regards to his athletic background, as well as his inflated ego. Like Lesnar, Corbin has a strong football history and also spent some time in the National Football League. However, the Lone Wolf was involved in a few scuffles with his former NFL teammates, which contributed to his demise in the sport.

When Baron arrived at the WWE Performance Center, he was accompanied by a sense of unwarranted entitlement. For whatever reason, he felt like he needed to walk around with a Texas-sized chip on his shoulder. Unfortunately for him, NXT coaches and trainers didn't look to fondly on his attitude issues. Ultimately, his ego got the best of him and probably cost him some time on the main roster, as many believe he would have been elevated much sooner had he not been such a jerk in the locker room.

Thankfully for him, he made the necessary adjustments and got his mind right in time to be selected in the brand-split draft. Now armed with the Money In The Bank briefcase, Corbin has a golden opportunity in his hands and can enjoy many years of success if he keeps it between the lines.

#4 Big Cass

Big Cass is proving he's not SAWFT on his own!
Big Cass is proving he's not SAWFT on his own!

It was only a matter of time before Big Cass found his way into singles action. Sure, Enzo and Big Cass made for entertaining TV, but the fact of the matter is Big Cass is destined to be a star on his own, since he is working on his skills to become one of the stars.

Big Cass has the obvious size to be an intimidating presence inside the ring, but he has now developed a strong sense of relentless aggression since turning heel, which was desperately needed.

If Big Cass can get into the gym and continue to hone his skills, he could go a long way and really start turning some heads. He has the chances of becoming the next brock lesnar,if he still continues to work on his skills and continue to build them up to become the next brock lesnar.

#3 Roman Reigns

With the right formula, Roman could have a huge future.

I'll be perfectly honest, I am not a huge fan of Roman Reigns, but on the other hand, I don't understand the overkill on all the hate. It seems like when Roman was with The Shield, he was adored by most of the WWE Universe. However, something happened along his singles journey which changed the collective perception on Roman.

The 2014 Royal Rumble was the start of a slow burn for Reigns, after being one of the final 2 in the Royal Rumble match and then losing to Batista. But, the very next year was when the spit really hit the fan. The 2015 Rumble nearly turned into the scene of a massive riot when Daniel Bryan was eliminated shortly after entering the match. Then it got really insane when Roman Reigns won the contest. As The Rock held his hand high in the air, a sea of boos filled the Wells Fargo Center. At that moment, Roman Reigns was a marked man by the fans and has yet to find his way back into the good grace of the WWE Universe.

Roman may not be the fans choice at the moment, but there's no denying his potential and if WWE creative decides to pull the trigger on a full-blown heel-turn and push him on a Brock Lesnar-type of an unstoppable run, I think he could change the minds of many naysayers in due time.

#2 Braun Strowman

Strowman could be headed for a collision with Brock Lesnar very soon!

When Braun Strowman made his debut with The Wyatt Family, his size and presence immediately turned heads. Week after week, Braun kept punishing everyone who stepped anywhere near his path. For someone who was brand new to the industry, Strowman was making unbelievable progress on the main roster.

Following his time as one of Bray Wyatt's go-to henchmen, Braun embarked on a path of singles competition that would carry him to a new level of success that he could've only dreamed of. Now that he has had dominating runs with major stars such as Roman Reigns, Braun is ready to step up to an even higher level.

At only 33 years old, Braun Strowman has many miles left on his wheels, if he can stay healthy. Standing at a towering 6'8" tall and weighing in at a massive 385 pounds, Braun carries himself like he's a portion of that size, yet he uses his massive stature to dismember anyone who foolishly decides to step in his way.

There's a strong chance that we will see Braun Strowman in the ring facing Brock Lesnar very soon. If so, this will be the match that gives us a clue of sorts, as to just how far Braun can go.

#1 Lars Sullivan

Soon and very soon, the whole world will know who Lars Sullivan is.

From time-to-time, someone comes along with minimal experience, yet they possess that ever elusive "it factor," which carries them over the top. Well, Lars Sullivan certainly has that it factor and much more.

In October of 2014, Sasha Banks sent out a mysterious tweet, which simply stated: "he's going to be BIG!!!" What people didn't know, was that she was referring to NXT newcomer Lars Sullivan. He's 6'3", 285 of pure man. His hands are the size of hubcaps and his big frame is solid as a rock.

The man has hands the size of frying pans!

Since signing in 2013, Lars has been working towards a moment that we are soon to see. Once this guy gets the green light, NXT will not be able to contain him for long. He's definitely a main roster star. In fact, several big names are extremely high on Lars, including Triple H, Kevin Owens and even the man of the hour, Brock Lesnar. Kevin Owens even mentioned that Lars also had incredible mic skills as well.

The bottom line is this guy is destined to be the next big thing. His unstable demeanour and unmatched raw power will carry him straight to the top. Go ahead and prepare yourself now. The big man from Westminster, Colorado, is on a fast track to the top.
