12 Wrestlers who have not won a match in AEW (yet)

Winning?
Winning?

It's interesting that AEW has decided to go ahead and make the point that wins and losses matter in the company. Tony Khan's background in statistics and sports data analytics has already started helping the promotion in big ways. While they have yet to release official stats, they have made it a point to put the stats on the wrestler's entrance graphics when Dynamite has aired.

While there is a still a while to go and Cody Rhodes has said that rankings may be on the way before Full Gear, they are still collecting data week to week. Like any organization, once enough matches are completed, there should be enough to start posting these on their website. But on further investigation, certain revelations started propping up.

Some wrestlers have not yet won a match in the company as of yet. While this is not unheard of, it's interesting to note that there are some shockers in the mix. In AEW, their win-loss records are divided into singles, tag teams and trios. While some have won under one classification, others have not cleared any of them.

Here are wrestlers who have yet to win a match in AEW.

#12 and #11 Jack Evans and Angelico (The Hybrid 2)

Nothing on the board yet
Nothing on the board yet

While it's interesting that these wrestlers haven't posted a win as of yet, It's not surprising either. Both men are fantastic in the ring, but their presence in the promotion (so far) has been lackluster at best. They haven't been consistent on TV and so far, come across as The Ascension of AEW.

They did lose to Private Party at All Out and then turned heel. On the debut episode of AEW Dynamite, they picked a fight with Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) and were shamed on their win-loss record by Mewes. Perhaps, there are plans for them going forward. It'll be interesting when that does happen.

#10 Penelope Ford

The Perils of Penelope
The Perils of Penelope

This is another interesting addition to the wrestlers who haven't won a match. The women's roster has been a weak spot in AEW but that can change over time. While Penelope Ford was closely associated with Joey Janela, she can hold her own in the ring. She has been involved in intergender matches on the independent wrestling circuit and her agility is unquestioned.

It's unfortunate that nothing has been done with her. Moreover, she still hasn't won a match as of yet. Her most recent match was in a four-way on AEW Dark when she competed against Allie, Sakura and Sadie Gibbs. But like others, it's going to take time for her to get over with the TV audience.

#9 Leva Bates

Overdue for a win
Overdue for a win

The other Librarian. Leva Bates has actually been on the wrestling circuit for several years. She was even in WWE NXT as Blue Pants and was used mostly as enhancement talent. So far in her run with AEW, that also seems to be the case. She accompanies fellow Librarian Peter Avalon and has lost both her matches so far.

While it's possible things could change in the future, at the moment, her being a losing irritating heel could actually be more of a winning proposition.

#8 Awesome Kong

Not so awesome
Not so awesome

It's quite silly to think that Awesome Kong would even feature on this list. The heavily decorated Impact Wrestling champion is quite a legend in the wrestling business. When she debuted at Double or Nothing, it was unexpected to say the least. To be fair, this has been her only match.

It's quite easy to deduce that her schedule with the Netflix show Glow is keeping her out of the ring. The producers of the show may not take kindly for her getting injured which would hamper the show. The good news is that the show is in its last season and it's quite possible that Awesome Kong could be back in action before long.

Kong is a monster in every meaning of the word and in order for her to fit that role, she needs to dominate the women's division. The recent promo that Brandi Rhodes released on Dynamite could be a sign of things to come.

#7 Yuka Sakazaki

Another enigma
Another enigma

This is interesting to say the least. It's unknown what Sakazaki's AEW contract entails, but she seems to be appearing on a part-time basis. Whatever the case is, she seems to be there to make up the numbers and not necessarily to be presented as one of the stars of the women's division.

#6 Peter Avalon

Silence in the win column
Silence in the win column

There's more to Avalon than meets the eye. He should be applauded for embracing a ridiculous gimmick which didn't really set the world on fire. He's been in several episodes of Being The Elite and even complained about the gimmick. Still, Avalon is committed to this role for the long term.

To be clear, he has a very important part. His gimmick as The Librarian is there to annoy the fans and make way for a welcome apperance from a top rated star. The Moxley promo was a prime example of that when he was hit with Jon Moxley's Paradigm Shift. It's no different than the role that Elias currently plays in WWE.

#5 QT Marshal

That guy with the apple
That guy with the apple

Most wrestling fans are probably wondering, "Who the heck is QT Marshall?" Well, he is an associate producer for AEW and a former Ring of Honor wrestler. He has been seen before on Being The Elite as one of Cody's "good hands." Perhaps, a WWE equivalent would be The Brooklyn Brawler who was a glorified jobber for several years and was a backstage producer.

Marshall will probably booked as an enhancement talent going forward as his backstage responsibilities will probably increase over time.

#4 Brandon Cutler

That Young Bucks' guy
That Young Bucks' guy

Brandon Cutler has a remarkable backstory as a man who left the business to raise a family. His friendship with The Young Bucks started in their childhood years and hasn't missed a beat after the Bucks found fame. His duties are split between a backstage producer as well as on-screen talent.

His debut match on Dynamite didn't go over well and it remains to be seen whether he's a long term propect or someone who is transitioning into a permanent backstage role. The story is quite obvious and his underdog status may win the audience over, but it's going to take time.

#3 Marko Stunt

Mr. funsize
Mr. funsize

Several wrestling fans have criticized Marko Stunt's presence inside a wrestling ring. His physique and short stature doesn't leave much to be desired. But Stunt does have the attention of the audience. He's able to pull off moves that many can't believe and is willing to take up the call when given the opportunity.

He recently subbed for Luchasaurus alongside Jungle Boy in their match against The Lucha Brothers on AEW Dynamite. While some watching were not pleased, fans inside the arena quickly found themselves behind Stunt. He should be applauded for being called on at the last minute due to Luchasaurus's injury.

Stunt may get over in time and shock the world in the future. But at the moment, it may take time to register a win in the company.

#2 and #1 Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy)

Shocker
Shocker

If there was a team that should be the most over act in the company, it's the Jurassic Express. For months, their pairing was considered a very organic team and most thought they would be on their way to winning the titles. It's also quite possible that had Luchasaurus had not gotten injured, they could have been on their way to accomplishing that goal.

What's more alarming is that Jungle Boy has 5 losses to his name already. This is a bit of a head scratcher as he was considered to be one of the bright stars on the way up. His celebrity lineage has never been fully utilized, but perhaps, this was due to Jack Perry wanting to carve a name in a gimmick that had nothing to do with his late father, Luke Perry.

Luchasaurus is one of the biggest men in the company and his marketing potential is quite obvious with the masks and being able to cater to kids. It's quite possible that he could take on Jake Hager in a collosal hoss fight. Only time will tell in the months to come.
