2 WWE Superstars who could turn heel and 1 who may turn face at Survivor Series

After getting seriously concussed during the Raw Invasion this week on Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Women's Champion, Becky Lynch, was replaced by Charlotte Flair in her match against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.

On another note, Daniel Bryan turned heel this week on SmackDown, and not only defeated AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, but will now go on to clash with Raw Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, in a dream match at Survivor Series.

It would not be wrong to say the week has been a roller-coaster ride for both WWE and The WWE Universe, and with Survivor Series just two days away, expect the week to end on a high note as well.

Apart from the blockbuster matches scheduled for this Sunday, WWE Survivor Series is expected to lay down the bread crumbs for a few potential feuds. Thus, we may get to witness a few superstars turning heel/face to ignite a new feud.

In this article we look at 2 superstars who could turn heel, and 1 who may turn face at the event.

#3 Face: The Miz

From being a co-captain with Daniel Bryan, The Miz became the Team SmackDown captain after Bryan won gold and replaced AJ Styles in the match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. However, we could witness the must-see superstar turn face at Survivor Series.

Even after getting injured and declared unable to compete by the referee, The Miz, persisted on fighting for his brand and himself in the first ever World Cup at Crown Jewel, and arguably WWE laid down the bread crumbs for a potential face turn of The Miz in due time.

The Miz has been one of the top heels on the SmackDown roster, and a potential face turn at Survivor Series looks interesting. However, given his recent work as a heel, I am afraid it might not be the best idea, and a potential face turn may fail to impress the audience.

#2 Heel: Shane McMahon

With SmackDown's Commissioner, Shane McMahon, winning the WWE World Cup at Crown Jewel in controversial fashion, WWE teased a potential heel turn for Shane McMahon.

Shane has been included in Team SmackDown for the elimination match at Survivor Series. However, we may get to witness the Commissioner turning on his team, resulting in a loss for Team SmackDown at Survivor Series.

With SmackDown's General Manager, Paige, being a face, there has been a lack of heel authority figures on the blue brand. However, with Shane rumoured to turn heel, the void may be filled at Survivor Series.

Given The Miz is the Team Captain of SmackDown, this would not only result in a face turn for The Must-See Superstar, but would also set up a classic feud between Shane McMahon and The Miz.

#1 Heel: Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle failed to get a spot on Team Raw as he lost to Drew McIntyre after Constable Baron Corbin replaced himself with The Scottish Psychopath in a match against Angle.

Nevertheless, it was expected that the former Olympic Gold medalist would eventually get a spot the following week. However, things did not pan out as everyone had expected, as Kurt Angle was not included.

With Corbin expected to feud with Braun Strowman after Survivor Series, there is no solid storyline surrounding Angle, thus a potential heel turn for the former General Manager of Raw may totally be on the cards.

Given how Corbin told Stephanie that he would eventually find a way to defeat SmackDown at Survivor Series, Kurt Angle making a surprise entry to join hands with Corbin could well prove to be the way.
