3 Biggest Shockers WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw (March 18, 2019)

Will it happen?
Will it happen?

A week ago, WWE Monday Night Raw followed the Fastlane 2019 pay-per-view. While it was a fantastic show from top to bottom, it also provided some noteworthy segments heading into the Road to WrestleMania.

On one side, Triple H agreed to face Batista at the biggest stage in a "No Holds Barred" match while on another, Kurt Angle announced that WrestleMania 35 would be the final time he will wrestle for the WWE.

The episode also saw The Shield going into their separate ways and Drew McIntyre targeting Roman Reigns by brutally attacking him while destroying Dean Ambrose in the process.

This week, WWE is advertising the return of Brock Lesnar, and a match between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins will also take place.

What shocking events will transpire in this upcoming episode? Let's take a look at 3 legitimate shockers WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw.

#3 Ronda Rousey attacks Stephanie McMahon

This could happen again!
This could happen again!

The Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey is scheduled to face Dana Brooke this week on Raw. Dana Brooke had an altercation with the Rowdy one last week and got pummeled by Rousey for her troubles.

The entire WWE Universe expects Ronda Rousey to make short work of Brooke and retain her championship title, but the post-match affair could see Ronda Rousey losing it and attacking Dana Brooke.

In case you missed it, Ronda Rousey turned heel a few weeks ago and pulverised Becky Lynch, so it's no surprise that she will try to do the same to Brooke.

Storyline wise, WWE fined Rousey for her actions last week, and we could see the same this week with Stephanie McMahon coming out to penalise her, but this time, Rousey targets the boss' daughter.

After all, she is going to main event the 35th anniversary of WrestleMania and doing this will put her over as a legitimate heel while also increasing the intrigue to a whole new level.

Kevin Owens challenges Kurt Angle

Owens will benefit from defeating Kurt Angle!
Owens will benefit from defeating Kurt Angle!

Last week on Monday Night Raw, the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle, announced that he would perform for the final time at the 35th anniversary of WrestleMania. The Olympic hero will end his illustrious career at the Grandest Stage of Them All, and he will announce his opponent at this week's episode of Raw.

As a fan that closely followed his career, I totally support his decision to end it on a high note. His two decades career comprised of various World Championship reigns and he is no doubt one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot inside the squared circle.

Now the question arrives is who will be final opponent for the legendary wrestler? There is a certain amount of talent on the WWE roster that can have a great program with the Olympic hero with John Cena being the most obvious choice.

There are rumours swirling around that Kurt Angle will choose John Cena as his dance partner for the biggest stage, but I think it should be someone younger who can benefit from it.

Enter Kevin Owens. Owens made his return to WWE a few weeks ago when he faced Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Fastlane.

While he came back to the blue brand, it's not certain that he will stay there for long, and coming back to Raw to challenge Kurt Angle would be a great opportunity.

Kurt Angle giving a rub to Kevin Owens at WrestleMania will be beneficial in kick-starting his career as a babyface, and it will surely be an exhilarating contest.

The "Demon King" challenges the Undertaker for a match at WrestleMania

The Undertaker should put over Balor at WrestleMania!
The Undertaker should put over Balor at WrestleMania!

Finn Balor's career has seen a lot of up and down since arriving on the main roster back in 2016. He defeated Roman Reigns in his debut match and then went on to conquer Seth Rollins to become the first ever Universal Champion, but a legitimate injury caused him to relinquish the title a night later.

Since then, Balor has been stumbling on the mid-card feuding with Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley. Last week, he lost his newly won Intercontinental Championship back to Lashley and is now set to face "The Almighty" and Lio Rush in a tag-team match this week on Raw.

Balor will get to choose a tag-team partner to even the odds, but I think the " Demon King" will appear to take down Lashley and Rush all by himself and then will go on to challenge The Undertaker for a match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Like every year, this year has also seen the WWE Universe wonder if The Undertaker will return to the ring or if he is finally going to hang it up. The Deadman was last seen at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view where he teamed up with Kane to take on Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

And let's be honest here, if there is ever going to be a dream collision between The Undertaker and Finn Balor, it will have to happen at WrestleMania 35.
