Who will The Demon' clash with at The Grandest Stage of Them All?

WWE's greatest and grandest pay-per-view of the year, WrestleMania 35 is still two weeks away. However, it would not be wrong to say that the WrestleMania fever is running high and wild on the WWE Universe. Fans all over the Internet just can't keep calm and the speculations and predictions seem to take a new turn every hour.

Well, as per the latest reports, this year's event is going to be the longest PPV of all time and may include as many as 17 matches. While WWE has already announced a total of 9 matches for the event, expect Creative to book and complete the match card in the coming weeks.

Talking of the coming weeks, WWE may not only go on to book a few high profile matches for April 7 but will also look to hype the event. However, given there will only be around one week's time after the next week, expect Vince to all but complete the match card for April 7 as soon as next week. This would then leave Creative with one week's time to hype the feud.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at 3 huge matches WWE might book for WrestleMania in the upcoming week.

#3 Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston vs Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship

Will there be a triple threat match for the WWE Championship on April 7?
Will there be a triple threat match for the WWE Championship on April 7?

Even though Kofi Kingston was screwed by Vince McMahon for the umpteenth time, it is on expected terms that the high flyer will take on Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship on April 7. However, it is not that simple as it looks.

According to the latest rumours, Kofi is not expected to walk out as the WWE Champion on April 7. Thus, WWE might include Kevin Owens in the match to not only explain his loss but also to lay down the breadcrumbs for a feud between the two.

As a matter of fact, KO, on the last edition of SmackDown Live gave props to Kofi and stated that he would be watching Kofi vs Bryan closely. Thus, it could be WWE's way of hinting us that KO is not done with the Championship yet.

Given how Vince replaced Kofi with Owens at Fastlane, expect the big boss to play the same politics on the upcoming episode of SmackDown live next week.

#2 Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin vs John Cena

John Cena is likely to be included in the matchup to make it a triple threat at WrestleMania 35.

WWE has announced Baron Corbin to take on Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35 and given it will be the retirement match of Angle, it is a bit underwhelming to have Corbin as the final opponent of one of the all-time legends of WWE.

Nonetheless, according to the recent rumours, it is expected that John Cena will either replace Corbin or he will be added to make it a triple threat match at WrestleMania 35.

Well, personally, I feel the 16-time World Champion will be included in the feud to make it a three-way going into WrestleMania 35. As a matter of fact, John Cena not only teased a potential match with Angle a while back but also took a shot at Baron Corbin. Also, one should not forget the history Cena shares with both these superstars.

Thus, it is highly likely that Cena gets included in the matchup to make it a triple threat for April 7.

#1 The Demon vs Bobby Lashley

Finn Balor losing the Intercontinental Championship a while ago on Raw made a lot of heads turn. However, as per reports, WWE has some 'big plans' in store for The Boss of Balor Club for April 7 and 'The Demon' spellbinding audience with his antics looks totally on the cards.

Well, the recent feud between Lashley and Balor which was getting a bit underwhelming recently was given a new life when WWE made Finn lose his Intercontinental title to The Almighty two weeks ago. Thus, expect this feud to prolong at least until WrestleMania 35 and as a matter of fact, The Demon King might have confirmed the same recently on a talk show.

Thus, expect WWE to announce the Demon vs The Almighty for the Intercontinental Championship for April 7 as soon as next week, leaving Creative with around one week to hype the match.
