A wild brawl between The Inner Circle and The Elite ended a momentous night for AEW!

This week's AEW Dynamite episode was an important milestone for the company in general.

Fans got to witness the first of many go-home shows ahead of AEW Pay-Per-Views. As Full Gear takes place on November 9th at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, all the major plotlines exploded in a chaotic brawl a few days before the Pay-Per-View itself.

Admittedly, the show felt a little out of place during some moments in comparison to last week's Halloween Eve-centric episode.

But that doesn't change the fact that last night's show covered all bases in hyping up their Full Gear Pay-Per-View.

Here are a few interesting observations from this week's AEW Dynamite (November 6, 2019):

#3 Cody's passionate promos are perfectly mirrored by Chris Jericho's parody promo of the same

Cody cut one of the best promos of his career last night. It was purely a babyface promo, yet it managed to draw an amazing reaction in 2019.

A part of the reason behind why the promo succeeded was that Cody is a believable character, and as a result, viewers can believe and relate to the character whenever he speaks on the mic.

This is a more heartfelt approach to the character, as opposed to any other generic babyface who's been handed a script to follow without any room for improvisation.

On the other hand, fans lit up during Chris Jericho's parody promo of Cody's vignette from last week's episode.

We had Sammy Guevara sarcastically calling Jericho as the youngest champion in AEW Champion in history (which he technically is, but you get the point). Jake Hager stared a hole into the camera and even Virgil made an appearance during the video package! Also, Chris Jericho's "Aunt's Friend From Church" - Patricia Bobski quipped in to give her two cents as well.

Interestingly, Chris Jericho also portrayed the character of "Clint Bobski" in WWE's infamous 'Southpaw Regional Wrestling' episodes. Coincidence? I think not!

#2 The AEW Women's Division needs more depth in terms of storytelling

Last night, Jamie Hayter and Emi Sakura took on Shanna and Riho in a tag team contest.

It was earlier announced that AEW Women's Champion Riho will defend her title against Emi Sakura at Full Gear.

As of right now, it is pretty apparent that AEW's strengths lie in their singles (men's) and tag team divisions so far.

But when it comes to the Women's Division, it feels as if the company lacks a lot of elements to build up a sustainable program for their Women's championship bouts.

Sure, Sakura and Riho will face each other at Full Gear, but what is the story here? What is the selling point that would drive viewers to particularly tune in for this match?

On top of that, AEW simply doesn't have a lot of compelling women characters on their roster. There is great potential to transform the company's female wrestlers into actual stars, but as of right now, pitting them against each other in singles or tag team matches every week without any context in terms of the story doesn't help at all.

Truth be told, it looks the company is doing fine without putting too much focus into its female talent. But it is still a department that AEW needs to work on in the meantime.

#1 Why the episode's ending was a perfect way to hype up Full Gear

This week's episode of AEW Dynamite ended in the most 90s way possible - A chaotic brawl between a horde of wrestlers.

In some ways, featuring your marquee talent in a big incomprehensible mess adds a sense of urgency to the Pay-Per-View itself.

Because when you look at it, the members of The Elite and The Inner Circle have separate matches at Full Gear and pitting them together in a wild brawl days before the Pay-Per-View is a great way to hype up the card.

On one hand, we have Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega facing each other with barbed wire objects in the ring. Before we know it, Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks is jumping off the top of a stage prop.

Cody and Jericho's intense hatred for each other was highlighted as well.

There isn't much to dissect here, because, at the end of the day, entertaining brawls like these are part of why people tune in to watch a Pro-Wrestling show.

Also, it looks like The Elite and The Inner Circle will collide against each other in a gigantic contest sooner than later. Earlier in the night, Cody teased the same matchup while delivering his passionate promo.

If last night's brawl was any indication of things to come, then we are in for a match of epic proportions.
