A few interesting observations from this week's edition of Monday Night RAW (Apr. 1)

This week's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW (1st April 2019) saw a lot of contrasting moments. Right from the main event of WrestleMania 35 imploding into a wild melee, to Finn Balor revealing his Demon persona in front of the entire WWE Universe, last night's episode had it all.

Before we start, it is important to keep in mind that go-home RAW episodes for WrestleMania have always been labeled as 'disappointing' in the past couple of years. Last night's show wasn't perfect, but with a few exceptions aside, it was one of the boldest RAW go-home episodes (for WrestleMania) in recent memory.

With that being said, let us take a look at some interesting observations from this week's episode of Monday Night RAW...

#3: Why Batista is most likely to lose at WrestleMania 35

With a few exceptions aside, the Batista-Triple H rivalry has been progressing quite moderately on the Road To WrestleMania 35.

We all know that Batista's previous stint in the WWE wasn't exactly how he wanted it to be. Also, Batista had been expressing his desire to return to the company for one last run, which is perhaps why this rivalry exists in the first place.

As recent history indicates, it always seems as if Triple H is the one picking up wins against opponents that he had found difficult to conquer in the past (The Undertaker). With Triple H's poor track record against Batista, and also the unlikely idea of Hunter retiring at this point in time, it is easier to say that the odds are stacked against Batista this Sunday.

Moreover, the moderate buildup for this feud indicates that the story might branch out to Pay Per View's following this year's WrestleMania, which means that Triple H and Batista's rivalry might not end this Sunday.

All things considered, it is quite unlikely for Batista to walk out as the victor during WrestleMania 35.

#2: Is Demon Balor here to stay this time around?

Things took an interesting turn for the Intercontinental Championship feud last night. Finn Balor will be The Demon for his Intercontinental Title match against Bobby Lashley this Sunday.

This probably means that Bobby Lashley is most likely to lose his title at WrestleMania 35. This is good news for Balor fans too, and this plot turn also benefits the feud itself.

But we need to know whether Demon Balor is here to stay or not. If Balor's WrestleMania 35 stint as The Demon is only reserved for this Sunday, then it would be quite obvious that The Demon is just a cheap gimmick to attract more attention.

Earlier, The Demon was an integral part of Finn Balor's persona, and in order for that to happen again, Balor's alter ego needs to be a part of his overall arc once again.

#1: The Main Event of WrestleMania 35 is back to being one of the wildest feuds in recent memory

All hell broke loose six nights before The Show of Shows

The Becky-Charlotte-Ronda saga had lost some steam in the recent few weeks, until last night, where all hell broke loose following a Six-Woman Tag Team Match involving Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey against The Riott Squad.

Whatever chaos that followed the matchup was certainly well choreographed.

Sure, you can't blame anyone if they chuckle while recollecting the absurdity of the whole scenario. Ronda Rousey breaking a glass window (in pic) and commandeering a town car by smashing it into a squad car was one of the many wild moments that occurred during this brawl.

Expect their WrestleMania 35 Main Event match to be a chaotic battle, because after what happened on RAW, it is quite obvious that there will be a lot of animosity between Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey.

On top of that, expect there to be some implications as well. Perhaps these implications will be addressed by Stephanie McMahon on this week's SmackDown Live.

With that being said, which particular WrestleMania 35 matchup are you the most hyped for?
