3 interesting things which could happen on the upcoming episode of Raw (3 December 2018)

Will Bray Wyatt finally make his much-awaited return this week on Raw?
Will Bray Wyatt finally make his much-awaited return this week on Raw?

The last episode of WWE's A show, Monday Night Raw, was quite underwhelming and received negative reviews from the WWE Universe.

While it featured the continuation of the existing feuds building up to TLC, it was monotonous and predictable (we all knew what was going to happen to Finn Balor and Elias when they challenged Baron Corbin) for the most part. Also, the segment featuring The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose was one of the most bizarre promos you will ever see on Raw.

With the match between Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler being the only highlight of the show last week, the WWE creative would be under a lot of pressure to deliver this week on Raw. While WWE has already announced a blockbuster Women's tag team match featuring Ronda Rousey for this week, The Monster among Men Braun Strowman is also rumoured to feature on the show.

Given the underwhelming response of the last edition, expect creative to book a few shocks and surprises for the upcoming episode, apart from building up to TLC.

So without further ado, lets look at 3 interesting things which could happen on the upcoming episode of Raw.

#3 Ronda Rousey gets mauled by the heels

Rousey will feature in a tag team match with Natalya on the upcoming episode of Raw

Well, WWE has already announced that 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey will team up with Natalya to face the duo of Nia Jax and Tamina in a tag team match on the upcoming episode of Raw.

However, given the turn of events from last week (Natalya getting attacked by Riott Squad), expect the heel trio to intervene in the match, joining hands with Nia and Tamina to absolutely beat the hell out of Ronda Rousey.

Rousey is scheduled to defend her Women's Championship against Nia Jax at TLC. However, in order to make Nia look legit against Rousey and gather some momentum and heat, expect The Facebreaker to come out on top this week on Raw.

#2 Braun Strowman pays a surprise visit

After injuring his elbow in a complete beat-down at the hands of the heels, Braun Strowman was scheduled to go for an elbow surgery, and it was assumed that the confirmation of the same would be done last week on Raw. However, it seems things did not pan out as expected, because WWE has kept all the cards close to its chest.

However, Braun Strowman is rumoured to feature on the upcoming episode of Raw. Given his injury, a match or any physical altercation looks distant. Thus it could only mean WWE finally declaring him unfit for TLC.

WWE could have Baron Corbin feature in the opening segment with a health expert, revealing Strowman unfit for TLC, and naming himself the future GM of Raw, only for Strowman to show up and cut a fierce promo about ripping Corbin and the heels apart once he comes back, followed by him tossing the health expert with one hand and staring at a surprised Corbin on the ramp.

#1 Bray Wyatt shocks the WWE Universe in the main event

Bray Wyatt may return this week on Raw as the replacement for Braun Strowman
Bray Wyatt may return this week on Raw as the replacement for Braun Strowman

Given Braun Strowman has seriously injured his elbow and reportedly looks out till January, Bray Wyatt is speculated to serve as a replacement for The Monster Among Men in his match against Baron Corbin at TLC, and this week might feature WWE confirming the same.

While Wyatt making a surprise return directly on December 16 at TLC as a replacement for Strowman might have been the earlier plan, the recent rumours, plus the underwhelming response to Raw might just force WWE into this.

WWE could have Corbin set up a handicap match featuring Elias and Finn Balor, teaming up against Lashley, McIntyre, and himself for the main event of the show, only for Bray Wyatt to make a surprise return to equal the odds.

This would not only add the element of surprise and star value, but would also make it interesting in the following weeks.
