The previous edition of Raw received huge praise from WWE critics, and it would not be wrong to say that it was a wild, wild night.

From the likes of The Club and Maria Kanellis becoming the new Raw Tag Team Champions and 24/7 Champion respectively, to the death-defying jump of Cedric Alexander, Creative did not leave any stones unturned to book an amusing and entertaining episode of WWE's A-show.

However, Brock Lesnar attacking Seth Rollins to absolutely decimate him was easily the highlight of the show. And to be honest, it was always coming, given WWE had to hype their high profile match for SummerSlam.

On another note, a positive change in WWE's product, especially Raw has been evident ever since Paul Heyman has taken over the flagship show of WWE and Vince would like him to continue with the same good work when Raw comes live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this Monday night.

Given this will be the go-home episode of Raw before SummerSlam, expect Creative to hype the upcoming pay-per-view in full flow.

So, without further ado, in this article, we take a look at 3 interesting things which could happen on the upcoming episode of Raw.

#3 Roman Reigns is laid out backstage as the mystery behind his attacks continue

Reigns did well to avoid any major injuries

In case you did not know, Roman Reigns was ambushed by a mystery attacker on the previous edition of SmackDown Live. While the likes of Samoa Joe and Buddy Murphy were speculated to be the potential culprits behind the attack, it seems there is a new twist in the tale.

Yes, rumor has it that WWE is planning a blockbuster matchup between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan for SummerSlam 2019, and thus, Bryan could be revealed as the mystery attacker.

However, expect WWE to prolong the mystery at least until Tuesday Night SmackDown. Creative could have cameras cut to backstage only to find Roman laying down and out after another attack by the unknown attacker.

WWE could then go on to officially announce Bryan vs Reigns for SummerSlam on the following night after the former is revealed as the unknown attacker.

#2 Mike Kanellis turns on his wife to become the new 24/7 Champion

It would be interesting to see how WWE takes the 24/7 title off Maria's shoulders

R-Truth and Carmella faced Drake Maverick and Renee Michelle in a Mosh Pit Mixed Tag Team matchup for the 24/7 Championship on the previous edition of Monday Night Raw. While R-Truth was successful in pinning Drake to win the Championship, he was quickly piled on by several superstars trying to get their hands on the title.

Even though Mike Kanellis was successful in getting hold of the 24/7 Championship, his reign was short-lived as his wife Maria forced him to lie down to take the pin to become the first-ever Pregnant Champion.

Furthermore, this has certainly opened doors for many interesting storylines, and it would be interesting to see how WWE decides to go on about the same. One such way could be Mike turning on his wife on the upcoming episode of Raw, after him being mistreated week after week.

Creative could have Mike Kanellis turn on his wife to regain the Championship only to lose it moments later to R-Truth. It would certainly be one of the more interesting segments in recent memory if WWE books it right.

#1 Brock Lesnar gets a taste of his own medicine

It could be payback time for Seth Rollins
It could be payback time for Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is scheduled to take on Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam on August 11. However, much before their scheduled clash, the former Architect of The Shield got a preview of things to come on the last episode of Monday Night Raw.

Yes, Brock Lesnar appeared on the last edition of Raw to lay waste to Seth Rollins. Rollins had to leave the arena in an ambulance, and the segment received much praise from fans and critics.

However, Rollins is medically cleared and as a matter of fact, it could be payback time for the former Universal Champion on the upcoming episode of Raw.

Yes, Rollins could return the favour to Lesnar by beating the living daylights out of him on the upcoming episode of Raw. This would not only make Rollins look like a legitimate contender in front of Lesnar, but would also hype their match beautifully for August 11.
