We are less than a month away from The Showcase of Immortals as WrestleMania 37 is set to take place across two nights on April 10 and April 11, 2021, at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This year's show will be even more special as WrestleMania 37 will witness the return of fans to the shows for the first time in over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Surprisingly, there's still a lot of uncertainty over the match card and only two matches have officially been announced. However, there have been some storyline developments recently on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, that have further teased some other matches for WrestleMania 37.

In this article, let's take a look at three matches that should happen at WrestleMania 37 and two that should not. Be sure to comment down and let us know your thoughts on the same.

#3 Should happen at WrestleMania 37: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship

The rise of Bobby Lashley to the top of the WWE mountain has been one of the best things about WWE programming this year. After years of not being used to his full potential, Lashley finally won the WWE Championship earlier this month by destroying The Miz. In all likeliness, The All Mighty will enter WrestleMania 37 as the WWE Champion.

Now, Drew McIntyre has already made his intentions clear of coming after the WWE title and getting it back. As per the reports, WWE is planning a massive Last Man Standing match between McIntyre and Sheamus with the winner going on to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37.

As impressive as Sheamus has been lately, it should be Drew McIntyre, who feuds with Bobby Lashley and faces him at WrestleMania 37 for the WWE title. Both superstars have been absolutely incredible recently, and the best part about this match would be that fans can't predict who would walk out of WrestleMania 37 with the WWE Championship.

Drew McIntyre could defeat The All Mighty and have his crowning moment as the WWE Champion in front of a live crowd, something he deserves but missed out on last year. Or, Bobby Lashley could retain his title and go on to have a solid reign as the WWE Champion, possibly facing Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam 2021 later this year. Who would you like to see win, dear reader?

#2 Should not happen at WrestleMania 37: Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship

One of the only two matches to have already been announced for WrestleMania 37 is Universal Champion Roman Reigns defending his title against the winner of the 2021 men's Royal Rumble match, Edge. However, the feud between the two has taken an interesting direction on SmackDown with the involvement of Daniel Bryan.

Despite both Daniel Bryan and Edge being top babyfaces, there are clear tensions between the two, with Bryan even delivering the Running Knee to Edge on SmackDown last week. As of now, Daniel Bryan is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal title at WWE Fastlane and with everything that happened on SmackDown last week, Edge could be the special guest enforcer for their match.

Fans have pointed out that WWE seems to be hinting towards changing the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 37 into a triple threat with the addition of Daniel Bryan. That could easily be set up with Edge somehow costing Bryan the match at Fastlane.

However, WWE should not make it a triple threat and rather keep it a proper singles match between Roman Reigns and Edge. Daniel Bryan could instead face someone like Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 37.

#2 Should happen at WrestleMania 37: "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

One match that is almost certain to take place at WrestleMania 37 is that between Randy Orton and "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. The two have been feuding since last year and the storyline has taken some bizarre turns, including Orton burning The Fiend in the middle of the ring at WWE TLC 2020.

It was rumored that Randy Orton and The Fiend could face each other at WWE Royal Rumble 2021 in a cinematic match, likely something similar to the Firefly Fun House match that we witnessed as WrestleMania 36. However, that didn't happen. What has been surprising is that The Fiend has been off WWE TV for nearly three months now, with Alexa Bliss taking the baton from him to continue the storyline and haunting Orton.

Alexa Bliss has been involved in some spooky backstage segments that saw her trying to resurrect The Fiend using black magic. The Fiend's return is very close and he will surely unleash his wrath upon Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37 in some bizarre stipulation match. There have been speculations of the two facing each other in a cinematic match, but considering that WrestleMania 37 will have live fans, it would be interesting to see what new idea WWE comes up with.

#1 Should not happen at WrestleMania 37: Randy Orton and Nikki Cross vs. The Fiend and Alexa Bliss

Randy Orton vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 37 should happen, however, WWE needs to keep it a singles match. For the last couple of months, Randy Orton has, in a way, feuded with Alexa Bliss on Monday Night RAW and the latter has had the better of him on more than one occasion.

With this, Randy Orton would be outnumbered when The Fiend returns. There could be a temptation to add another superstar to the mix to team up with Orton, and the clear option could be Nikki Cross. However, WWE should avoid booking a tag team match at WrestleMania 37 between The Fiend and Alexa Bliss taking on Randy Orton and Nikki Cross as it will not suit the character of Orton.

At the same time, Alexa Bliss should definitely get involved in the feud and even the match to further make The Fiend invincible. Currently, the WWE Universe is split about this storyline as some are enjoying the supernatural aspects that are rarely used these days, while others believe that WWE is just dragging it. In any case, the feud between the two should end at WrestleMania 37 with The Fiend taking revenge against Randy Orton.

#1 Should happen at WrestleMania 37: Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Peyton Royce for the RAW Women's Championship

The RAW Women's Championship scene ahead of WrestleMania 37 has become quite intriguing. It has been revealed that the original plans were for Lacey Evans to win the RAW Women's title at Elimination Chamber and defend it against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 37. However, that didn't happen due to Evans' pregnancy.

Now, Charlotte Flair has made her intentions clear to come after the RAW Women's title at WrestleMania 37. Interestingly, some RAW superstars have taken a shot at The Queen for not giving others an opportunity. The most noteworthy name was Peyton Royce, who recently cut a highly passionate promo on RAW Talk and has massive support from fans as well as her colleagues.

Among all of this, the current RAW Women's Champion Asuka has been out of action due to a concussion and there is no confirmation on her status for WrestleMania 37. Considering she is cleared to return by then, we might see her defend the RAW Women's Championship in a multi-women match. WWE has been hyping Rhea Ripley joining the roster of RAW for the last few weeks and she might just jump straight into the title picture as well.

Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Peyton Royce in a fatal four-way match for the RAW Women's Championship could steal the show. There are so many underlying storylines among all four of these women that could be used to tell an amazing story at WrestleMania 37.
