3 Matches WWE needs to book for WrestleMania and 3 they should avoid

What matches should WWE definitely book for WrestleMania?
What matches should WWE definitely book for WrestleMania?

We're less than 6 weeks away from WrestleMania 35 and things are really heating up in the WWE right now. Roman Reigns is back, the Hardy Boys just returned on SmackDown, Kevin Owens is back from injury - it's all looking very exciting.

We've also seen a number of NXT Superstars make their main roster debuts recently, impressing over and over again.

With WrestleMania around the corner, it's time for WWE to nail down their card for the biggest night of the year.

In this article, I take a look at a potential Mania card and take a look at some matches WWE should book, and some that they should definitely avoid at Mania.

#3 SHOULD BOOK - Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Trish Stratus and Lita

Sasha Banks and her best friend Bayley made history at WWE Elimination Chamber last month. They beat out 5 other teams to become the first ever WWE Women's Tag-Team Champions. Now we just have to wait and see who their challengers at WrestleMania are.

If you ask me, the best option for it would be a marquee match against the team of Trish Stratus and Lita. What better way to cement these two titles as important than having two of the biggest legends in women's wrestling history returning to challenge for it.

#3 SHOULD NOT BOOK - Sasha Banks and Bayley defending in a multi-team match

I really hope this is not the match WWE thinks will excite fans at WrestleMania 35. Usually, multi-team tag matches are often a good way to go at big PPVs to save time but I still believe that it should be two-on-two.

#2 SHOULD BOOK - Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch

This is the match fans have been waiting for since Becky Lynch got injured ahead of Survivor Series. However, this storyline has only gotten more convoluted since Lynch won the Royal Rumble and at this point, it does not look like we'll get the singles match we want.

Don't me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Charlotte but the RAW Women's Championship match would have been better off one on one.

#2 SHOULD NOT BOOK - Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch

Will Charlotte get added to the match?
Will Charlotte get added to the match?

This is probably the match we'll get for the RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania. This match will still be great and the idea behind it is probably the fact that WWE is inserting another seasoned worker into the match to ensure quality since Ronda Rousey is still a little inexperienced inside the ring.

This match will probably main event WrestleMania and WWE think that adding Charlotte is best for business.

#1 SHOULD BOOK - Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston

As we saw on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown, the WWE Universe are totally behind Kofi Kingston. This was even more evident from the audible groan in the arena when Vince McMahon announced that Kevin Owens would be replacing Kingston at Fastlane.

A disappointed Kofi left the arena with The New Day as the fans still chanted his name. It's clear that this match is what the fans want and I'm pretty sure that the WWE will give it to us at WrestleMania. The real reason they put Owens in the match at Fastlane was probably so that they could save Bryan vs Kofi for Mania.

#1 SHOULD NOT BOOK - Daniel Bryan vs. anyone else

Assuming Daniel Bryan is still WWE Champion at WrestleMania, he should not face anyone else who's not Kofi Kingston. Even if it's a multi-man match that has Kingston as one of the challengers, it would still be better to do a singles match.
