There have been a lot of rumors about the possible heir of Vince McMahon once he retires from the role of WWE Chairman. Some people believe Triple H is ready to take the mantle, while others believe Shane McMahon should inherit his father's legacy.

In all this hullabaloo, no one seems to think about Stephanie McMahon as the possible contender for WWE Chairmanship. She has all the qualities and abilities to be a candidate for being the WWE boss.

There are three possible reasons which make us believe that she could be WWE Chairman, as listed below.

#3 WWE is in her blood

Stephanie McMahon was born to Linda and Vince McMahon in 1976. Her great-grandfather Roderick James McMahon founded Capitol Wrestling Corporation in 1952. Since then, the family has grown the professional wrestling business exponentially.

She is a fourth generation wrestling promoter, and she has seen it all. Stephanie has worked as a receptionist, sold WWE merchandise, performed various front office jobs, fought with top wrestlers of her time, and is currently the Chief Brand Officer (CBO) of WWE.

With Triple H by her side, she has an able lieutenant who can help her in all business and wrestling decisions. Shane McMahon has a minority stake in WWE, but he is busy in running a fin-tech company called 'Seven Stars Cloud Group, Inc.' Vince would definitely want to pass on the baton to his daughter so that the control of the company remains in his bloodline.

Having grown up as Vince's daughter, Stephanie has presumably accumulated diverse and vast experience in running a wrestling corporation. She has the ability to represent WWE on the global scale, all on her own. Her associations, friendships, and high-profile contacts will come in handy when she becomes the Chairman of WWE.

#2 She is a true businesswoman

Apart from wrestling on WWE programming with superstars such as Trish Stratus, Sable, and other wrestlers, Stephanie is an astute businesswoman. She has worked on the business side of WWE from an early age. She started out as an Accounts Officer then rose to the position of Senior Vice President for Creative Writing in 2006, and now heads the company as CBO.

Her communication and interpersonal skills are absolutely phenomenal. Whether it is print, broadcast or social media, she is present everywhere. Her messages are always apt and clear.

It was only because of her efforts that Yahoo partnered with WWE. The WWE campaigns such as the Anti-bullying campaign, Make-A-Wish or the charity works have been successful because she was a major part of them.

From an early age, Stephanie aspired to be a part of the family business. She worked hard and is considered one of the most powerful female businesswomen in the United States. If she takes over the company, her brand value and business acumen can definitely make WWE a multi-billion dollar corporation in a decade or so.

Being a publicly-traded company, the Board will take her credentials into consideration before they make the final decision of offering her the Chairmanship.

#1 Keeps women in forefront

The role of women in society has grown steadily over time. WWE is no exception. It was in 2016 that WWE brought about a resurgence of women's wrestling. They paid a great deal of attention to the fans' desires, which made them launch the WWE Women's Championship, ditching the former 'Diva' label completely.

Stephanie led the way for the Women’s Revolution. There were more female wrestlers on the roster, and they were getting more screen time. There was a shift in the way storylines and gimmicks were written with regards to the women's roster.

WWE's Evolution pay-per-view occurred in 2018. At the start of the event, Stephanie was quoted as saying:

"This historic event marks another milestone in WWE’s women’s evolution. The spotlight just got brighter for these athletic, talented women, who will once again showcase to the world that they can break down barriers and blaze their own trails.”

She believes that women deserve a chance to be on the business side of WWE as well. Stephanie has championed the cause of women empowerment by offering them the WWE platform to display their talent, skill, and hard work.

With her at the helm of affairs, WWE's viewership and standing will grow by leaps and bounds.
