It's almost time for SummerSlam 2019 and WWE is trying its best to build up a big storyline for the show that takes place on Sunday, August 11th. WWE always tries to pull off a few shocking moments especially on their biggest shows.

The Biggest Party of The Summer is one of the biggest shows for WWE behind WrestleMania, along with the Royal Rumble. Many things could happen in this mega event as we could see returns, some NXT call ups, or maybe even a surprise heel turn.

In the lead up to the show, we have already seen a very different storyline for Roman Reigns and the return of Bill Goldberg, who will face Dolph Ziggler on the show. While one cannot predict the entire storyline, here are three shocking things that could take place at SummerSlam.

#3 The OC adds some members

A new member?
A new member?

After AJ Styles recently turned heel to align himself with his former Bullet Club members Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, the trio have been on a roll. Styles beat Ricochet to win the US title and Anderson and Gallows became the RAW Tag Team Champions.

With all of that, they could continue with their momentum by gaining a new member. A few possible candidates for the role in the stable are first of all Finn Balor. For those who aren't aware, Finn was the one who created the Bullet Club stable in New Japan Pro Wrestling and Anderson was also a founding member.

Another possible member is Shinsuke Nakamura. In Japan, Nakamura was the leader of Bullet Club's rival stable Chaos and right before the end of his tenure with the company, Nakamura had an incredible match with AJ at the Tokyo Dome. Adding a new member would be a great idea and be a shocking moment however they are introduced.

#2 Shane McMahon beats Kevin Owens

WWE has a history of putting over Shane McMahon in recent months. He started the year becoming a Tag Team Champion with The Miz and then beat his former partner on two occasions including at WrestleMania 35. If Kevin Owens loses he will quit and if anyone is going to defy the odds and predictions of everyone then it will be Shane.

Now, this is WWE in 2019 so if Owens quits he doesn't have to be gone for very long at all, in fact, considering that Summerslam and the two days of TV following are in Canada - Owens' home country - he could be back after a day or two.

WWE also has a history of beating people in their home towns and this could be one of those times for Owens.

#1 The New Day turns on Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston is in the middle of a personal rivalry with Randy Orton, with the pair bringing up the fact that Randy basically ended Kofi's big push 10 years ago. Kofi would never have a push that big again until the start of this year.

The only way to make this feud more personal is to have Kofi's partners Big E and Xavier Woods get involved in the match and turn on Kofi leading to Randy Orton becoming WWE Champion once again at Summerslam.

It could be either man but Big E makes more sense. He used to have a bodyguard gimmick where he looked after Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee so he could return to this role to help Randy. Since they have been together for over five years now any of them turning would be maybe the most shocking moment of the year so far.
